The media could not be loaded. This exceeded my expectations. This formula goes on like butter - it's smooth and thin yet even at one coat (first photo), the shine payoff is fantastic. Two coats is perfection (video and 2nd photo), especially in daylight. This dries in under 5 minutes and that alone makes this worth the price. I splurged on this bottle instead of paying the $16+shipping for another name brand nail polish retailer, and I'm surprised how pleased I am even though $14 is almost an embarrassing amount to spend on nail polish. I didn't really have high hopes for this nail polish, but it's actually amazing. I got the subculture color cause I love the holographic rainbow look. I brought it to a nail salon to get my nails done and the manicurist kept comment how much she loved the color. Without any direct light hitting it it looks silvery with some sparkles of color, but when the light hits it it becomes a whole rainbow of colors. This polish is unlike anything else in my collection! It’s a gorgeous yellow-green jelly base with red highlights. It looks absolutely incredible in the sun and I got so many compliments on it. It also lasted a good while! I had to put 3 coats on to make it opaque, but I think it would still be stunning with two, a third coat didn't add that much. ... show more

I got the black holographic color and it’s great. I have tried to find one like this for a while. Most formulas are thin and take several coats to be a solid black color. This takes two coats. It also isn’t gritty and looks good with a shiny top coat!

PADPARADSCHA: this color is padparadscha just a beautiful coral-ish color, watermelon- like, a light red. i cant stop looking at it! i think its my favorite nail polish of all time PARAIBA: i was disappointed in this color, the blue is more like a darker teal than the bright turquoise from the pic. its pretty but not stunning like i wanted and like the pic suggested ROSE QUARTZ: i was also kind of disappointed in this color. its a little more nude than pink and not so sparkly. maybe i will try it with a holographic topcoat and see if it looks better ... show more

I don't know how it is that so few people know about black holographic nail polish. Granted it's hard to find, and that's why I was so stoked to buy this polish. Do you like the aesthetic of black nails but you're also a bird at heart and like things that are sparkly as heck? This polish is perfect for you. Do not buy this polish if you need to get anything done or need to drive somewhere because this polish is so sparkly and fantastic that you will definitely get distracted looking at it everywhere you go. In all seriousness though, one of the things I really enjoy about this polish is that it dries very quickly and only really needs 2 coats for complete coverage. (1 coat if you put it on a black base) 2 coats of this and a clear coat pretty much does the trick and then you don't have to sit around doing jazz hands for an hour waiting for them to dry. The formula of the polish is great. It levels well and is nice and opaque after two layers. However, the main reason I bought it was because it was advertised as holographic. Yes, the polish is holographic, but it only is visible under very direct light. The holo glitters are so finely milled that when it picks up on light, it most of the time just looks like a gray sparkly polish. I want to try other holo polishes from this brand, but I'm nervous that the others will have the same result. ... show more

I recall seeing a review that someone thought it was thick/gloopy and I disagree. This has a normal consistency and dried normally.
