I haven't used this product consistent enough to give a beneficial review for the benefits. However, it is super bright and compact to take with you when you travel in different tome zones.

This is super easy to set up. You plug it in and theres a little power symbol on the back that you tap to turn it on the different levels of brightness. It's small, light, and super bright. I gave it 4 stars because I'm not sure if it has benefitted me yet as I've only been using it for a few days. Otherwise, a great, quality product.

This little light is amazing. Compact, super bright (with options to slightly dim), and flexibility for plugging in via USB or regular electric socket. I have a larger light permanently installed in my bathroom, but was looking for something to use while travelling in winter months. The instructions and warnings show that the makers of this product understand light therapy. Also, it won't blind anyone around me. When it's on, and I was viewing it from the side, I thought, "hunh, that doesn't seem bright enough." But that changed when I sat in front of it! The lights are well focused. So glad I found this before an upcoming business trip.

The pros: This light is SO bright and powerful. It's nicely designed to collapse down and open back up. It made an ENORMOUS difference in my energy level and quickly became an absolutely necessary part of my day. It did not give me migraines, unlike some other lights I have used (though, to be fair, I only aimed it directly at myself a few times; since I am prone to migraines, I've been using it pointing away from me per my doctor's suggestion - however, other light therapy lights have brought on migraines with a single use of it aimed directly at myself, and I was able to use this one that way several times). It's bright, it's cute, it's easy to bring along. The con: The on/off switch mechanism is completely perplexing to me. I honestly still don't understand whether you're supposed to have to push on the back on the light, or just touch there to turn it on, because I usually had to manhandle it, coax it, poke it, turn it side to side, and talk to it before it would turn on. From day one, that mechanism was glitchy: it wouldn't turn on at all, and then finally it would, and then from time to time it would start cycling itself through its power settings without me touching or moving it at all, shutting itself off and turning back on randomly. I have seen other reviews complaining of this same problem, so I don't think it was an isolated incident. Eventually, the lamp just stopped turning on altogether, at which point now I'll be returning it for a replacement. The lamp is so good I'm willing to give it another go and see if the next one works better.

This week made device is very easy to use and incredibly bright. The cord is a nice design. It’s flat and very easy fold to the right size and comes with a Velcro tie with the company logo so I’ll always know which cord goes with the light box. I’ve suffered from SAD since I was a teenager and look forward to trying this. I feel better in the winter in bright days and well lit rooms so I’m expecting this little powerhouse of bright light will be very effective. I’ve used larger light boxes and it was an inconvenient while this little one easily sits by my computer or the coffee table while I use my phone. The instructions say the light should be placed to the side which makes it’s very easy to do something else and forget that I’m doing light therapy. My neighbor said this helped her immensely so I had to give it a try! After using the light for a few days it was easier to get up in the mornings. After two weeks of using the light in the morning 30-45 minutes while reading in bed I am not bothered at all by the grey winter days. I’m not missing summer and have more energy. I place the light about 8 to 12 inches on my bedside table at eye level so it’s shining into the side of my eyes while I read on my back looking forward and not directly at the light.

Somehow, even reading the specs, I thought this unit would be bigger. My first light box was a framed-in six fluorescent tube kitchen light fixture if that gives any hint at how long I've been using artificial starlight.) I was very surprised to see how compact it is. I like the variable settings and the way it folds up so the light fixture is protected. The stand is sturdy and very adjustable. I like that the power cord is convertible from AC to USB. I like that the unit is touch activated. My only caution to prospective buyers is that the unit, because it is touch activated, isn't compatible with a timer. This is not a problem for me atm but for those thinking of using this as a part of daily wake up routine, having your light work on a timer is very helpful. I highly recommend this lil guy especially for dark offices or limited light areas and fir those who travel and need their light but don't have a lot of space. This unit is great for a good anytime sun boost. I would recommend finding a unit that can be integrated with a timer if you're also needing it for waking up.
