By that, I mean it's clever and a good value. I just assembled my Ciokea chair, so I can't speak to the long-term durability. The packing and assembly instructions are very well done. Every single piece is clearly identified and matches the instructions. The major hardware appears to be stainless steel. My reference is a couple of Polywood chairs I have had for three years. In the plus column: The seat back is adjustable, the footrest is retractable, the chair folds for storage, and there are built-in beverage holders. I haven't seen any other patio chairs with all four of those convenient features. And it costs less than half what I paid for the Polywood chair (which doesn't have any of those features). In the minus column: I don't know if the slat screws are stainless steel. I will probably paint those, for protection and appearance. Because the chair can be folded, I put a nylon washer on each screw where two pieces rub against each other. The slats and frame don't seem as thick as the parts on my Polywood chairs. I weigh over 200 pounds and the chair is sturdy, but I wouldn't clown around on it. It's a nice chair, and a great value. ... show more

This chair is very comfortable and pretty easy to put together. I had some trouble figuring out the arm rest where it connects toward the front of the chair. There was a long groove and three different slot options for the screw but I was confused with the instruction manual. I reached out to the company and they provided me with extra detail. That was so helpful. I am attaching it in case anyone else has trouble with that one part. It's a great chair and seems very durable. ... show more

Very satisfied with the chair, it's sturdy and wasn't that much of a pain to assemble. Very heavy. (which I like) Pay attention to the assembly instructions and you'll be fine.

Chairs are sturdy and beautiful. I believe they will last a long time. Assembly wasn’t bad, especially after we figured out the first one. We love that you can either use the chair alone, or pull out the ottoman that most wouldn’t know is there since it is well designed. We also love the drink holder that even holds the right size wine glass ( I know I’m not the only one that wanted to know that 😊). The other plus is that they can be easily folded and stored. I’m a smaller framed woman and can fold and move them on my own. Yet, they are sturdy enough weight that they don’t budge in the wind. I love this folding chair! Assembly took about an hour, though it was easy enough to do. Material seems to be high quality and sturdy. It folds wicked easy. The ottoman part is attached, but slides up and under the seat of the chair; it's actually very neat and slick. You can't even tell there is an ottoman when it's put away! Best of all, is super comfortable to sit in. I can't wait for the snow to melt so we can sit in this chair and enjoy the sunsets outside. ... show more

The screws aren’t long too short for this chair and can’t be put together. I had to buy a separate set of screws to put this chair together. Arms are supposed to slide -because of screw size it doesn’t work
