Featuring a woven nylon mesh inner core encased in a thick heavy rubber with heavy duty grommets for hanging, Cimarron Heavy Duty Rubber Backstops absorb hard pitches and prolong the life of your baseball softball batting cage. The Cimarron Sports 4'W x 6H' Heavy-Duty Rubber Backstop features 5 - 2" Sturdy Durable Corrosion Resistant Heavy Brass Grommets across the top width for easy hanging. 2 more 2" Sturdy Durable Corrosion Resistant Heavy Brass Grommets are placed at each bottom corner to loosely secure your backstop during windy conditions. If your backstop will be used in a commercial facility we recommend mounting your backstop between 2 - 1x4's by drilling holes through the 1x4's front and back in alignment with the grommets on your backstop. Run a bolt with a washer and nut through each hole drilled through the 1x4's with the backstop wedged between and tighten. Use eye hooks in the top of the 1x4's lengthwise to hang your backstop. This will extend the life of your backstop by relieving pressure on the brass grommets which could potentially tear away with long-term extended heavy usage.
