What a great little fishing kit! Ok, to be honest I have not fished with it yet, but everything is quality in here. Most survival kits have maybe some fishing line and a hook or two. That’s fine and all, but this is so thorough for such a small kit! If you’re a fan of survival shows like I am, you know that fishing seems to be one of the most effective ways to get food in the wild. I bought the Best Glide Military Scout Kit for some other essentials, but I am very happy with all of the things they packed into this kit! I’d much rather have this to gather food with than a sorry excuse for a fishing kit found in some other survival packs. ... show more

Great little survival fishing kit. Small and everything ya need except the fish to put on the hook. Vacuum sealed it and keep it in my Go-Bag. Hopefully never need it.

You can always complain the these small kits are missing something, I won't. I purchased it as a simple tool and I can always add what I think I want in it. I bought it for the nice can and the contents and i got exactly what I purchased!

Just like it's brother tin, but this one is dedicated to fishing; I own both and carry in my ribz pack, fits well. Shipping was fast and arrived in very good order. Tons of room left inside to add more with no problem. Well worth the money and a better option than building from scratch, it will work. ... show more

I havent had to use this kit yet so I cant speak to the funtionality of the included components I have however opened and inspected each item. This kit appears to contain quality items, however it was so hard to get into that I cant imagine it being useful in a survival situation where the aquisition of food is a priority. This item arrived in box with several other items and while the packaging was undamaged the item itself was crunched in on one side at one end. this is primarily what prompted me to try and get it open. I was eventually forced to get out my leatherman use the knife to cut the tape sealing the lid and the body together and then forcably pry the two halves appart. Would I recomend this product, I dont know, if you want fishing tackle for you survival kit and arnt worried about quick accessability then yes its problably a good thing to have, otherwise you might be better off with a pocket fisherman (not that Im recomending that either). ... show more
