Okay these are awesome. haven’t tried them yet. I’ve take a couple falls on my onewheel and always hit my hip and right now they’re pretty bruised. the pads are in all the right areas and it’s such a sleek designed. Very comfortable under jeans. even tight ones. It’s a bit on the tight side but you can always adjust it. go a size up if you think your a small i say go for medium. more room to play with. i’ll update everyone once i fall and see how they do. ... show more

Took snowboarding lessons for first time today. For reference: female, 130lbs, 5’ 2” I really wanted to love these but I think they’re just okay. I’m on the hunt for something better still. Did they keep my bum warm and save me on a lot of falls? Sure did. Am I glad I had them? Yes. Did they do their job? Definitely. Cons are it’s not a sweat wicking material and gets pretty hot. Ends up sweaty and sticky and then you’re cold after a few hours of learning. They’re also super bulky. I had to go up a full size in snow pants from small to medium. They also really aren’t designed for a woman’s body/hips. They felt too large around the waist and very constricting through the hips. The velcro waist wasn’t comfortable and on me (as a petite) it came up to my ribs which wasn’t the most comfortable. ... show more

Well, these crazy old timers (my husband and I) have decided to re-learn how to roller skate at the request of our youngest ankle biter. Our six-year-old granddaughter is a speed skater so she really wants to share the experience with us. Personally, I think she just wants to speed up her inheritance. So with some practice on the carpet we're getting better at taking a few wheeled steps in the kitchen. My husband, being the expert that he is, and I, not wishing to destroy his illusion, decided to let go of the cabinets and I swear his feet surpassed his height when he fell! I ordered XXL because my waist is 31". They are too loose around the waist but tolerably so; however everywhere else is way too big including leg circumference and hips.UPDATE: Seller sent xl and size proportions have been corrected. However, when one puts pants on over them, they dig and scratch skin. This is because instead of sewing the seam, they use a serger, so the seam does not lay flat. It sticks out at a 90 degree angle to the skin, and the pants smash them into the skin. The thread and fabric is rough and harsh in the inner upper thigh, a highly sensitive area. Go back to the drawing board! Intolerable to sell undergarment that tears skin! ... show more
