During the wearing process, you can hear the hearing aid whistling, but after wearing it correctly, there is no whistling. This whistle is caused by incorrect wearing, master the correct wearing way can eliminate A2. The earplug is not suitable. If the earplug does not match the ear canal, the sound will leak out from the gap between the ear canal and the ear mold, thus producing a whistle. The media could not be loaded. My dad has mild to moderate hearing loss and it has made communicating with him difficult at times. I'm so pleased to have found this hearing aid! It is very discreet and doesn't look like a medical device at all. It looks like a pair of wireless earbuds. The hearing amplifier is lightweight and fits comfortably in his ear. He doesn't have issues with it falling out and it comes with different sized silicone pieces so he could get a good fit. It charges quickly in around 2 hours and works up to 45 hours on 1 charge. It also recharges in the case up to 140 hours before the case needs a recharge. The hearing aids have different modes that suit various environments and it's easy to change the modes. These are a must have they are exactly like earbuds but they help seniors and elder hear better. It has comfortable tips that fit into the ears comfortably. Amazing price and WAY less then hearing aids from the doctor and these are not bulky or ugly looking and make you feel like you can still fit in while wearing these. I have tried several hearing aid looking amplifiers that just make all sound louder. This filters out background noise so much better than all those others. Plus they look like earpods so people don't know right off they are really for hearing them and don't connect to any phone. Plus the battery life is exceptional. ... show more

Absolute garbage in every way.save your money and go to lexie hairing. These have no noise cancelation. Can't wear them out side if it's windy. Once we start to age, there are certain areas we all need some help with. For many of us our eyesight and the hearing aren’t quite what they used to be. At work and at home, I’ve had to deal with individuals suffering varying degrees of hearing loss. By no means if one has serious hearing issues, they need to make an appointment with an audiologist. For many, simple amplification will work, which is what these hearing amplifiers are for. These aren’t regular hearing aids, but rather a tool to amplify the sound around you. Everything needed is right in the box, including a User’s Manual as well as a Quick Start Guide. The manual offers up step-by-step instructions along with line drawing visuals. This is something I always find extremely helpful. There are plenty of helpful hints included in the instructions. These don’t come charged so count on a couple hours before using them. If you’re expecting a high-fidelity experience, take a pass because you’ll be disappointed. I set the hearing amplifier up according to the instructions. All of the things you’ll need for charging are right in the box so there’s no need to purchase anything. I found the visuals to be very helpful and had to refer to them a few times. There’s also a Quick Start Guide, as mentioned. They can be used or experimented with immediately as they come charged. Now, experiment is the operative word because there’s a bit of a learning curve with this hearing amplifier. It’s no different with hearing aids. Fitting it into my ear wasn’t difficult and I soon learned how to adjust the volume, which was very easy with a tap on the amplifier. I immediately noticed a difference in the sound around me. As with the other hearing amplifiers I have I could hear the paper rustling as I turned the pages in the user manual and was more aware of my surroundings. I could hear sounds in the house before, but the sound was considerably louder and clearer. If the volume is too loud, you’ll receive some feedback, or squelching from the amplifiers. This is common is regular hearing aids. A household member has double hearing aids and gets feedback when we’re in the car. I noticed if I had certain electronics too close, I’d get some whistling. It does take a bit of getting used to and experimentation. I suspect if I were to work steadily tweaking my usage and methods, I’d be experiencing few problems within a week. And so, what do I think of these hearing amplifiers? I think this is a good hearing amplification unit, but not great. What I especially like is the fact that it does have a clear user manual. One good thing is that, unlike another unit I have, is I don’t have to cut ear tubes. If you don’t need or want to see an audiologist and want don’t want to annoy your household by turning up that television, this is one product I’d highly recommend. At just under $150, the price is reasonable as “real” hearing aids start at $1,700. Once again, don’t expect any clear, crisp amplification with hearing amplifiers. These hearing amps offer a distinct amount of clarity and distinction thanks to the high channel volume. The earbud design is not my favorite option for regular wear however. I prefer my hearing amps to be more discreet, especially for times when I am at work. The tinnitus masking function is impressive.
