This is the first air mattress in a long line of air mattresses we've used that finally, actually stays inflated to a reasonable pressure for a reasonable amount of time. I know it's just the nature of the beast that air mattresses will deflate over time even though there are no punctures and the air release valves are sealed. After all, these mattresses are made of a material that is naturally porous, so yes, it's going to leak...very slowly. But this one doesn't leak nearly as fast as other ones we've owned, which needed to be aired up again every day because they deflated to the point of sagging. I'd say I didn't have to top this one off until probably the third or fourth day, and even then, it really didn't need it. We just like it to be pretty firm. So...FINALLY! Finally, an air mattress that we don't have to constantly keep re-inflating, and that will not deflate and get too soft during the night! Yes! ... show more

Unfortunately, this mattress has only been used twice and will not hold air throughout the night. You have to re-fill every 4-5 hours to be able to use comfortably. Guests will not want to do that!

Got this to keep at my daughters place for when I stay. I travel there a lot and have slept on this mattress more than a dozen times. Sometimes it gets left inflated until my next visit and NEVER loses air! It is so easy to inflate and deflate, it just takes a couple minutes. I am over 250lbs and it never deflates or loses air. It’s very easy to inflate, but deflated after every use. We checked for leaks, tears, scratches, and made sure all valves were sealed. We even inflated and deflated it several times before use like the manufacturer suggests, but this still didn’t help.
