I bought this for something other than for sleeping on so can't comment on sleep quality etc. I wanted it to put under our Comfort Aire king size mattress in order to raise the mattress above our hard framed bed to make it easier to change the bottom sheet. So we inflate and then deflate after changing the sheet. BTW: it did make it a lot easier to change the fitted sheet. Anyway....I was impressed with the overall quality of the mattress. It blew up relatively quickly (though loudly) and to full, firm capacity (unlike the ones sold years ago). I think this would make a great extra bed for guests or to use for tent camping. ... show more

Mattress is fine when you first air it up but with two adults on it we had to get up in the middle of the night to add quite a bit of air. So I would not recommend this item. My connections were all fully closed both times of use.
