As a 90' teen these were an immediate YES...sadly they aren't going to work. Mostly because of my own wearing needs, but I was also disappointed by the "scuffing" on the toe. Unless you really know what to look for you in the picture you wouldn't realize that they fake aged the toe. To me it looks like a swipe of white acrylic paint. Pretty sure that's what it is. It doesn't look bad, per se, it's just...unnecessary. Probably would have been 3 stars - BUT these are very well constructed. They look like they will last. I won't be able to wear them because 1) they are really hard to get on. Even with the zipped side, the opening is small. I am wheelchair bound and thought these would work. I wear boots almost everyday. I was able to get my foot in and sighed with relief because I had been looking forward to wearing these with my black stonewashed maxi dress. Sad face when I realized that the tops of the boots fall at an awkward place where my circulation is immediately cut off when I put my feet on the foot plate. Super uncomfortable and no way around it. Definitely size up a half a size for the average foot and a fill size for a chubby or wide foot. They are weirdly narrow in some areas and then awfully roomy in the toe box. Probably the design.

I thought I'd love these because they're just so funky and unique. But the white on the toe immediately distracted me. Then, I tried them on. There's a bubble in the sole at the ball of the foot which felt so weird since it doesn't go across the whole width; it's just a bubble of padding in the middle. Looking down at my feet, it looked like I was wearing clown shoes. In the mirror, it looked like a cross between clown shoes and rain boots. Definitely not the fun, funky look I was going for.

Decent quality for the price. Left boot fit good. Right boot had too much leather overhang on the instep, it pinched and caused terrible pain on top of my foot.

So, the shoes are adorable and pretty comfy. We ordered a size 8, recieved size 8.5- in a size 8 box. Fortunately, they were sized a bit larger, so they actually fit me, but not the spawn they were bought for. I'll probably buy a different pair for her, though, because she really wanted them. The color variety is pretty nice. We ordered the white, and they have a nice distressed look to them on top of the toe box, but they don't look old or dirty. Overall, a fun pair of shoes for a quirky family.
