I bought this storage organizer for my bedroom because my bookshelf broke. I also needed extra storage to store books, pictures, medications, supplies, etc. I was confused at first because the box it came in was small, so I wondered if I ordered the right thing! This organizer was affordable and easy to put together once I understood the instructions. My 10-year-old son helped me, but you can put it together alone if need be. It was light enough for me to carry into my room once I finished assembling it. It took us about 2 hours to complete it. I love the size and that it has several shelves for me to use. It also comes with hooks you can put on the side at the top so you can maybe store your sweater, purse, or umbrella if you like. So go ahead and purchase this if you are thinking about it - when it arrives, get you some water and play some music and get started with the assembly! It also comes with a wall mount to prevent it from tipping over, but you need a drill to install it. I chose not to use the wall mount since I didn't overload the shelves. So it should be good as it is without me having to mount it, but I might still mount it one of these days. The only downside I would say is that the back of the shelves are open and have no back cover, but the sides are covered though. Very sturdy . Didnt expect it to be that good of a quality shelf. Very happy the way it turned out. I was missing 1 piece. The connector for 2 shelfs. Otherwise easy to assemble.

This is a great piece for what I’m using it for..(I store my chunky yarn in it). Anyway, the only thing I wished I would’ve known is that when you start to put it together—I definitely suggest to use some small zip ties so it doesn’t work itself apart! I even used a small hammer to lightly tap the pieces into place as I was assembling it. Now, As I put more yarn onto the shelves or take some off it seems to move a bit and work itself apart. Other than that it was easy to put together, it saved tons of space for me and overall very stable! So I gave it 4 stars for all those reasons. ... show more

Hold well, do its function. I do not recommend using the tall stacked configuration if your goal is to store books. They will make the shelf flimsy. I rather configures them as low as posible to avoid overweight the frame. Has been a week now, and the frame is holding strong.

EDIT: NEVERMIND. DO NOT BUY. This shelf has caused me nothing but strife for the last month. Leaning tower of Piza situation . I really like this shelf so far. Building it was more of a pain, while there are clear instructions and everything comes together pretty quick, it is clear that this shelf was made cheaper. The metal pieces did cut my finger pretty bad at one point, as they're sharp on the end. I was frustrated initially just because pieces kept coming undone, but once I got a feel for how the shelf built, it became easier to reinforce the pieces to stay together. It holds all of my antiques and collectibles very well, I have books DVDs and other sorts of things that are rather heavy on the shelf and it seems to be fine! I would buy something from this brand again, I cannot be mad about the quality of the object considering how inexpensive it is. Also very lightweight and easy to move around. ... show more

Very flimsy and cheap. Put one book on the shelf and it started to buckle. Items don't stand up because of the thinner than paper shelves. Pipes are not metal; so the fear of them bending is on high.
