I ordered these boots because I thought the design was cute and unique. And they looked every bit as good in person as they did online. They lining was very soft and the boots felt warm. They were easy to take on and off. They problem was, they just weren’t comfortable to walk in. They provide no support for your feet. This might be fine if you aren’t actually planning on doing much walking in these, but if you are someone who walks a lot like me, steer clear of these boots! ... show more

I am a fat woman. Sometimes finding the right shoe can be tricky. Either the sole is flat with zero support, the ankle is not wide enough, or the shoe is hard to get on and off. This shoe is a winner! I've long admired TMA Eye shoes. I believe these are the same, though they only have TMA listed on them. I like the funky colors and the vintagey / scratched up look. They're different, which is what I'm always looking for. No hum-drum black or brown shoes for me, no thank you. Additionally, this shoe has a wide toe bed. There is PLENTY of room for your toes to stretch out. There's plenty of room to wear wool socks! The shoes are sherpa lined all the way through. Fat people often deal with diabetes, sadly, and wearing shoes that are both comfortably supportive and keep your feet warm is a necessity. These fulfill both functions super well! The ankle shaft is adjustable and plenty wide enough for anyone who may have fat or thick ankles (aka "cankles"). There is a lot of ability to adjust to your preference with both long laces and an adjustable velcro closure. Best of all is the side zipper loading! Most of us fat gals have difficulty bending over for any significant amount of time to lace up our shoes. Enter zippered boots and voila! Success! These shoes don't have the best arch support, admittedly, so if you are in need of extra arch support, you will need an insert. Good news, though. My orthodics slid in perfectly - zero problems! The sole seems to be made of rubber = A+, and the tread is an interesting pattern that allows for SOME traction, though admittedly, I wish there were deeper ridges to create better traction in the snow / ice.
