EDIT: after wearing the red fleece-lined hat I got for Christmas I am compelled to update my review: DO NOT BUY THIS HAT ONLINE. The color and quality is not up to the standard it was over a year ago. The sizing is definitely smaller and within minutes of putting it on I have to yank it back down over my ears. I had loved this hat, own several, and originally wanted it in every color. NO MORE. You cannot be sure what you are getting when you order from Amazon, or the various knock offs other sellers are pedaling here. I can no longer recommend this product, and will not order any others. It is simply not worth the hassle. ................. The hat is fine, structurally. However, I ordered the hat in "mint." What arrived is not what is pictured. It is a light heathered sort of grey/blue. My sister-in-law has the mint hat. I loved the color, and I order one too. The hat I was sent is a completely different color. Considering exchanging, but I'm not sure it's worth the trouble.

Here’s what you have to understand. It’s a $12 hat, it’s not meant to go through a war and come out looking brand new. I have quite a few versions of this hat. This version has fur inside and is amazing. I have a lot of hair that is very thick so when i buy hats i need them to have a nice stretch to them and not hug too tight that my hair looks weird. This hat is perfect and warm. Maybe it can’t go through the wash or whatever I’m not sure but who cares it’s a cheap hat. Has a lot of room and no awkward seems that poof the top. The regular female version had more colors but No fuzz inside and I really had to try and stretch that hat a lot. The version with the hole at the top is stretchable too but there is a hole at the top that lets heat out. This version is the beat hat I’ve ever owned and the light green color goes with a lot.

The color is pretty. I got purple. This hat is smaller than I expected it to be. The lining is very warm but if you have thick hair it will probably be tight fit.

I ended up sending this back because it didn't look right -- on me. I think it's about my head size/forehead size, both of which are probably slightly larger than average. However, I wanted to write a review because I was very struck by what good quality the fabric and the sewing were, and yes, it's warm and snuggly on the inside. It's as well-made as things three, four times the price. I wish so much that it had worked out. Lovely hat.

I ordered one of these last winter (Minnesota) because I was seeing the CC brand on people and thought they were really cute. When I found out that they had fleece lining, I was sold. I bought mine in deep purple and just received a teal one for my sister-in-law for Christmas. I might get another for my sister. Excellent price and so warm! I am surprised by the bad reviews. Those hats are clearly from some shady knock off company. Make sure that they are the original CC brand shipped from Amazon.

I LOVE this hat. Color is just as expected, fits snuggly, and super warm. I got the pink color and it is bright, just as pictured. The inside is insulated with soft, fuzzy material and the exterior layer is knit. Perfect for extra cold temperatures.
