This is a really nice looking and sturdy board however after I ordered and before it arrived was speaking to an avid skateboarder who said due to his my sons size and weight it was recommended he go with a 7.25 or 7.5 & this is an 8 inch board. I am returning unopened as I purchased a more appropriate fitting board for him but I think when he out grows the other board I will definitely reconsider buying this at a later time. ... show more

1st skateboard for my 8 y/o. He thinks it’s cool. While he had friends over, he had fall #1 in the kitchen while holding a once full can of Pepsi. Awesome!!! He’s okay and the kitchen needed only about 20 minutes of cleanup! I only see things improving from there, right!?!? The wheels work! The board seems durable.     • Get a Cal-7 instead!

This is okay for a kids first skateboard, but adults stay away. For a mere $10 more you can get a Cal-7 complete which is far better than this and other boards like this one on Amazon or at Walmart. The Cal-7 is a “real” skateboard compared to this. The wood am this deck seems like particle board. I’m sure it isn’t, but it’s not good wood, either. The trucks are not super robust and the wheels are soft no names. Bearings are terrible, but they are in most completes and should be swapped out. I wouldn’t recommend this board or any of the others in this price range. Spend $10 more and get a Cal-7 which is light years better. ... show more
