I'm overall happy with these. I bought 2 and use them occasionally to bring my conga's over to jam with friends. It offers good protection with the padding that is available. My only issue is that the straps are hard to deal with as they are pull strings for the opening. They end up being very loose and it makes it difficult to use them to carry the conga with it, especially when carrying multiple. I'm sure if you only had 1 and put it over your shoulder then it'd work.     • WISH TOP CLOSED BETTER, BUT OK

Nice looking bag and my TOCA's fit fine. Not a thick padding but I don't throw them around and do all my own hauling in and out to take care of them. The only disappointment is that the top closes with a cinch type design using the shoulder strap and does not 100% close leaving the top partially open to the elements. I am going to either put in a snap like boat canvas or Velcro on the top as it has a natural fold to it so it can be completely closed, something I think manufacturer could have done and had a much better product. I will edit with pictures when I finish that modification. ... show more

I honestly do not know what otherr people were expecting for their $10, but I feel I got my monies worth and then some. I suppose the quality is not up to a case that costs 2x-3x more, but it is good enough for mmy purpose- storage. It is more than generous for a full set of bongos as photo shows. The padding is also adequate exccept on the bottom. I also feel it would be a tight fit for congas unless they were really small- less than 24 inches. It is also good looking. This is in my opinion the worst conga case ever. While my 10"quinto fits in fine, there is no easy way to carry this bag. The backpack straps are painfully thin and nonfunctional. I had zero luck finding an easy way to simply carry the drum in this case.
