They look sleek and stylish. Very modern and stream/slim lined. They are much lower to the ground compared to my previous chairs. Almost like a chaise for young teens. Can be taller. My son in law put together for me so I’m not sure how easy it was but he was very quick in putting it together. These chairs are not exactly comfortable. They're about as comfortable as they look. Mesh and angles are very tight and flat, unlike the human body. So in order to really "relax" in these you will want to get a headrest, because in any reclining position your head and neck will not be supported. Easy to assemble, light weight. If you are after a certain look these may work for you. I live in the Northeast and this was the main reason that I ordered the black mesh; everything outdoors gets ruined unless you are diligent in maintaining and storing items and have fun with that extra work. ... show more

We purchased this set of two chairs. The first went together easily and looks great. The second piece is another story. The hardware was not with the instructions but thrown loosely in wrap, the sides did NOT slide on with ease, so I used a hammer to get the first side attached. The second side will not slide down the side legs - I tried using a hammer, and it is about 1/4 of the way down, will not go any further, and is now stuck. This is very aggravating. I cannot ship this back because I cannot take the chair apart. I reached out to the manufacturer, and they told me if I was seeking replacement or the 'majority' of parts that I needed to reach out to Amazon. I did reach out to Amazon, and they were WONDERFUL! Since I cannot ship the item back, they gave us a partial refund. If you do buy this, know that if the legs don't slide on with ease - return immediately. Overall, I would NOT recommend this item - save yourself the aggravation, pay $500 more, and get the pre-assembled, white glove delivery version from Pottery Barn [I wish I had.] ... show more
