Based on other reviews I went with the 9ft bag for a 7.5 foot tree. It is plenty big, and I like that it covers it all the way down. The material seems sturdy, as do the closures.

This is a well made bag that is easy to put around my tree but because my tree is only five feet tall the bag is enormous. It also does not fully close at the bottom. I think it is not made to include the tree stand in the bag but mine fits easily with the stand. There are absolutely no instructions so I'm not sure I packed up the tree correctly. There is a large strap to wrap around the bag but I don't know what it's for. The zipper did make putting the fully decorated tree in the bag easier. Size up 1-2x bigger than you think for height!!! Also, zipper is a joke, doesn't hold if any tension is put on it while trying to secure tree in the bag.
