The media could not be loaded. TLDR for the ADHDers: Big, Bubbly, and Beautiful. A little work to get positioned. These are everything I hoped they would be. My grandmother always had these on her tree when I was a child in the 80s and they just feel like Christmas to me. I had a small string of them in the past, but they'd inevitably break or stop bubbling for mysterious reasons. I ordered these to put on trees that sit on either side of the fireplace in our living room. They add just the pop of color and charm that I needed to make the room Christmas perfect. They are a little tedious to get positioned correctly because the clip on the bottom of the light is a little bigger than I needed it to be, though I can see why it needs to be that size. Thankfully for my purposes, I am able to twist my faux branches around it to stabilize it and it doesn't appear to get hot enough for me to worry about it touching other branches. One of my bulbs was blown when it arrived. I contacted the seller and they sent me a replacement bulb with no hassle, for which I was grateful. ... show more

As a boy, my husband was always enchanted by bubble lights. We got them for our first tree 53 years ago, and we still have them. The original strands are long gone when the series died when one light bulb went, but these days, one bulb out and another bulb in when we have a replacement. They are bright and bubbly, and our granddaughters are fascinated. We'll always have them. What's odd is that individual replacement bulbs cost more than an entire string, so we always have an extra set in case one bulb fails to work. Over the years there has been no improvement on getting the lights to stand up on the tree, but an artificial tree limb bends to the task much better than a real tree. I've always wanted bubble lights and bought some from an antique mall that turned out to be a dud. Bummed out, I got on Amazon and came across these. I ordered the 9-pack, and they arrived sooner than expected. Assembling them was easy, and my husband strung them up on our fireplace mantle. All work. Just tested them. Problem with these bubble lights and ones for past 50 years is the base all lit up looks like oranges and lemons on a tree. Back in the day it was an art deco base and more colors and looked fantastic. Radko has them if you want to pay a high price. I didn't want to.
