I recently joined a Bible study and wanted a small notebook or journal to use for taking notes and writing down my thoughts. I had previously purchased one of these journals for a friend of mine and liked the quality and price so I came back to order another one, just in a different style. I love the design and message on this particular one so I purchased this one. This journal is great for Bible studies, writing, or any writing activity you could use it for. It has a see-through cover with a beautiful design of colorful birds and flowers. The verse on the front says "Deeply rooted in God's love." - Ephesians 3:17. There is a tagboard piece right after the cover so there is a slightly harder surface to write on, a page with "To," "From," and "Date" if it's a gift, and 63 sheets (126 pages) of thick, lined paper. The lines are similar to a college-rule notebook and each page has the Bible verse "Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever." -Psalm 118:29. There is another piece of tagboard followed by another colorful see-through back cover. The journal measures 5 1/2 inches by 8 1/2 inches and has double spirals to keep it bound. It is made in China. I am pleased with these journals and this one is great for my Bible study! The paper is thick enough to write and I can easily use my ballpoint pens. I haven't used gel pens with this journal. I love the design of this journal and have already been checking out the other similar journals available by this company. My friend and I love these journals and I recently ordered another one for when I take some notes. I'm already planning to buy more of these and feel they are a great price to buy more than one and to give them as gifts. The only thing that could make them better is to have different Bible verses on each page. There isn't a hardcover back but it's hasn't been a problem for me since I either write with my journal on a table or on top of my Bible. For the price, I am very happy and plan to buy more!
