Although this is nowhere near being big enough for a king size bed I really liked the softness and the fact that it didn’t feel like it would be too hot so I decided to keep it, however, after following the suggested instructions for washing/drying it to a tee I took it out of the dryer and was going to comb it when I realized there was zero chance of getting a comb through most of it. Large sections of it are matted, clumpy and dirty looking- it would be impossible to comb it even if I wanted to. I tried to get a side by side comparison in my first picture, the second one is of a “good” area and the last one is of a clumpy matted one but much larger areas than those are compromised. Plus it definitely appears that the smaller size of it is even smaller now that it’s been washed and dried and, as mentioned, I made sure to follow their directions to a tee. On the bright side that’s $70 I can put towards a quality set I guess because this one is going back today. Please don’t waste your money on this- I feel quite confident that if yours doesn’t do the exact same thing it will be compromised in some capacity on the first wash/dry.

I got this for my autistic son's 12th birthday. He loves the color gold and had been jealous of his brother's feaux fur comforter. He craved the texture. This comforter looks great and feels great. Air-drying it took forever but preserved the texture when cleaning it. My son loves it. It fits great on his twin bed, and it was a reasonable value. Only issue is that the care instructions are not sewn into the hem of the blanket or pillows, which means this set may get ruined the first time someone new ends up cleaning it.
