Well-made, moderately fitted, lined jacket. Really elevates your look when wearing jeans to a Ralph Lauren casual look. I purchased the brown and it is beautiful. Definitely looks more expensive than the purchase price. For reference. I am 5 foot five, 130 pounds, and the medium was perfect. The sleeves, as some reviewers have said, are about an inch too long for me, but fortunately, the buttons on the sleeves have real button holes and it is easy to undo one and flip or roll the sleeve up. Great quality and fit. I ordered black but it looks more like a gray, the fabric is 98% polyester and 2% wool, which makes it lightweight it comes with a 100% polyester soft lining all that said I was expecting higher wool percentage based off the advertisement, but this coat is absolutely beautiful. ... show more

When I ordered this, I had no idea it would be so well made. The plaid is classic, unexpectedly so. It is lined, for heaven sakes something I did not expect. What a bargain. It may not be exquisite tailoring but it is very nicely done. You just need to know that it runs a bit small so order way up. The length is shorter than pictured. With a good-looking wool or cashmere scarf, no one will ever know it is not more expensive. The description does not do it justice. I wore it with a brown turtleneck and a was called a rich girl by an old friend! So, I ordered what is described as the grey version. It is terrific: black herringbone. I ordered the brown color & the blazer is wonderrful; fit, quality & workmanship. So I ordered the black color. As they hung together, I noticed the black one was an inch wider on the left shoulder! I'm gobsmacked at how nice this jacket is. Yes, it's all polyester, only 2% wool, but the price is reflective of this. I got the black and it's 100% representative of the picture, appearing a deep charcoal with a herringbone pattern. This is not a loose weave fabric and is unlikely to be easily snagged. It's lined, including the pockets. It has structure with full curved back side seams and partial front side seams for a fitted, tailored look. Notched lapels look even. Stitching is tight and even. Amazon sizing suggested large and while a bit long in the arms, its a great fit for me (5'4", 36-31-38, 135#) and looks shockingly good. Wool content aside, minor complaint is that the buttons and buttonholes are NOT reinforced and there is no inside pocket, details I would have appreciated, but for $40, this is a big win and absolutely recommended. ... show more

Even though this blazer isn't offered in size XS, I ordered it (in size S) because it looked so gorgeous in the photos, I was hoping it might somehow run small (it does not). The fabric is beautiful, the lines are beautiful, it's cut to compliment your curves. The lining is good quality, and the sewing is well done (no loose threads or buttons ready to fall off). And herringbone tweed is so classic! I really want to keep this blazer; I know that slightly oversized look is still popular, and I can pull it off, but in the long run, I'll end up not wearing it very often, because I prefer the more tailored fit of size XS.
