Once receiving an unpacking this item, I quickly started to put it together, following the directions to a tee. What I noticed right away were that the pieces are thick and fairly solid, and a little heavy which means pretty good quality. The finish on all the pieces was beautiful, smooth and clean. I would know that it’s important when assembling it that things are a lot easier if you have a small screw gun, but you do not need them and can hand tighten. It will just take a little longer. Luckily I had a screw gun and it still took me about 20 to 25 minutes to put it together by myself. I took immediate notice of the quality of the hardware, which was good, and there are several points at which you need to insert a small wood peg which joins certain pieces at this stage. I usually would add some wood glue not too much so that leaks out of the seam, but enough to make the connection of the frame even stronger , but this is not necessary. I would also point out that unlike myself you would want to follow directions exactly, particularly when you are putting on the other side of the table. You’ll be instructed to attach one side and one leg to the table top and bottom shelf I would advise against attaching the legs and then the bottom shelf it will make things that much easier and faster. I was very impressed with the holes that were drilled and the overall ease of lining everything up and getting it tight Once the assembly was completed, I wish that they would’ve added a third secured screw or something in the middle of the leg to the top of the middle of the table top I ordered this particular coffee table due in part two the bottom shelf the design and style but also the color and most importantly the size it was the perfect size I needed For the price you get decent value I do not think you get a super hot discounted deal at 150+ tax But it’s a good solid table is a bigger size than most and does have extra thick, long legs ensuring integrity It’s fairly heavy once completed, but I’m fairly able-bodied and was able to move it by myself. It’s easy to clean, but also is easy to get fingerprints and small marks on the surface, so keep in mind, you will most likely have to maintain and wipe it down consistently , All in all it provides extremely large amounts of space to put things if need be both on the top and the bottom and it’s strong enough where it should last quite a long time even if I have to move ... show more

    • Chic and Compact
Color: Black & Espresso Size: 40 Inches
I recently purchased a coffee table for my living room, and it has proven to be the perfect blend of style and functionality. This chic and compact addition has transformed my living space, providing a versatile surface that complements both form and function. The design of the coffee table is sleek and modern, making it an eye-catching focal point in my living room. Its compact size is ideal for smaller spaces, yet the minimalist aesthetic ensures it doesn't overpower the room. The clean lines and neutral color seamlessly integrate with various decor styles, offering a timeless and versatile piece. Assembly was a breeze, and the instructions provided were clear and straightforward. The table's construction is sturdy, and the quality of materials used instills confidence in its durability. The compact size doesn't compromise stability, and the table comfortably supports items like books, decorative pieces, or even a couple of coffee mugs. The practicality of the coffee table is evident in its surface area, providing a convenient space for daily essentials. Whether used for holding snacks during movie nights, displaying a curated collection of books, or as a platform for decorative accents, its versatility makes it a valuable addition to any living space. The compact size is particularly advantageous for those with limited living room space. It doesn't dominate the area, allowing for easy maneuvering and creating a more open and inviting atmosphere. Its low profile also makes it an excellent choice for pairing with different seating arrangements. Cleaning and maintenance are hassle-free, thanks to the smooth surfaces and quality finishes. The coffee table has proven resistant to scratches and stains, maintaining its polished appearance with minimal effort. In conclusion, the coffee table has exceeded my expectations in terms of design, functionality, and practicality. Its chic aesthetic, compact size, and versatile surface make it an excellent choice for those looking to maximize their living space without sacrificing style. If you're in search of a small coffee table that effortlessly combines form and function, this one comes highly recommended. It's a stylish addition that enhances the overall ambiance of any living room. ... show more

I bought this as part of a 3 piece set. The TV stand and end table both have a wood grain type finish on their top piece. This one only has a solid color. I question why this one was sold as part of the set with its top finish clearly different from the others. (See photos) I'd return it but the hassle isn't worth it. I have since found a coffee table made by the same company on Amazon that would have been a better match. Overall though, the quality seems very good and assembly was a snap. ... show more

I really like this coffee table. I bought it a year ago (2025) and it still looks great, not falling apart and no problems. I bought the choochoo Oxford end tables to match. I like them also. I submitted a review for them also.

This was super easy to put together, I did it myself in about one hour and the wood looks really nice. A great addition to my new apartment. The only issue I have is that it’s not that sturdy, I feel like I have to be super gentle with it or I run the risk of it breaking. Luckily for me it’s just my husband and I, so nobody is leaning on it or bumbling into it. For the price, I’m super happy with it and would purchase again. ... show more

    • Espresso coffee table
Color: Espresso Size: 40 Inches
This is not solid wood. The espresso color is very dark brown, almost black. Easy to put together by a person who knows about simple furniture building. (Locking cams, cam bolts and dowel rods, oh my!) The instructions were very easy to follow. My daughter had to drill out the very last hole which was not drilled through all the way. The finish may not last but it looks great! Use coasters! ... show more
