I have a brand new 2021 Tao Tao Scooter. This package also came in a Big Bore kit. After 1600 km the CID unit went bad. If your bike uses this type of CID I still recommend getting it. The CID seems to remove a rev restriction and you will pick up 5 mph to even 10 mph depending on surface and inclines. The downside is the CID is only good for about 1600 Km. Buy 1 and install, buy a second to keep on the bike. You're going to need it, trust me. The CID on these types of scooters seems to go out a lot. ... show more

    • I tested both blue and orange cdi and red here are my findings
Here's what I'll say this is Not my 1st review of one of these products I reviewed another product and put the same message on another One of the Cdi products and here I go So I tested both these blue and Orange CDI and The lesser known red cd I and I found the difference so me and my brother one weekend decided to test all these cdi's On a flat road outside my grandmother's house and we figured out the red is significantly better then the stock, The Orange was significantly better than the red and stock it was more of a racing CDI like it says But the interesting thing is a lot of the videos out there on YouTube say the blue is best it is but it isn't the Orange and the blue are about the same the only difference is 1 to 1/2 seconds delay between the both of them I know I'm surprised too I didn't realize they're basically the same) thanks for reading ... show more

    • Bad cdi
I Installed the cdi and it blew the fuse. I didn’t know what happened and installed an new fuse and the new fuse blew also. I put the original cdi box on and the fuse didn’t burn.
