You need large metal thick brackets
Color: Black
Size: 11.7"D x 60"W x 8.3"H
I love the shelf it is thick heavy and well constructed wood and it's a 2 person job. And also the little brackets that came with the shelf were not enough to hold it up so you must purchase larger metal brackets And use a drill and you're good to go. I Love my floating shelf it measures 59in just as described easy to put together right under my 60 in flat screen tv!

Good but doesn't sit flush to the wall
Color: White
Size: 11.6"D x 47.2"W x 7.1"H
Overall super happy with this shelf. Was easy to install and came with predrilled holes so there was no guess work on placement. But doesn't sit flush against the wall. Once we put things on the shelf it was less noticeable. But there is a definite 1/4 inch gap on the top between it and the wall. The bottom is flush. I don't know. Maybe user error. But we followed directions exactly.

Not real sturdy
Color: Walnut
Size: 11.7"D x 60"W x 8.3"H
I don't like the way this hooked on to the wall most other floating shelves are a lot more sturdy with a bar that goes all the way across and connects to a bar that connects to the wall much more secure this one you put it up you make adjustments but anytime you put something on the shelf it sounds like it's going to fall and I have nothing on it except the sound bar a DVD player and maybe three DVDs and a power bar to connect all the electronics
