I absolutely love this piece. I needed something bigger for a coffee bar. I do not have a lot of counter space in my house and the spot I have set up for my coffee bar was way to small since we got more coffee items for Christmas this year and needed more room to set things out. I needed a place to store homeschool books, art supplies ect for a minimal price. This met my style requirements and the functionality is exactly what I was looking for. The drawer is a bonus for me. The assembly was straight forward for my husband who is a season veterant and knows to also wipe down all his pieces with a damped cloth before assembly, however even after almost few months of use, the inside of the cabinet still has this very chemically unpleasant smell that is now starting to fade and thus would not recommend for storing food. This piece came together easily. 2 of us spent about 45 minutes building. Directions were clear. It is very solid and sturdy. Top does scratch easily so be careful. We are considering putting some type of clear coat to protect. Color is slightly off white. Very pleased with purchase.
