Despite its higher-end pricing, this coffee table has more similar qualities to lower-end priced tables I’ve seen. The planks were scratched when received, and the white scraping looks terrible against the dark stained wood. I would understand if it was through wear and use, but having it damaged straight from the box is pretty disappointing. EDIT: Customer-service gave me a partial refund for the damage, and I'm very appreciative of their help. ... show more

When I first received this table, there was a gash in the top piece. I wasn’t going to make a big deal about it, but this table isn’t cheap. So I requested a replacement, packed it back into the box, and Amazon sent a UPS driver to just pick up the box the next day. They immediately sent a replacement table and it was shipped and arrived quicker than the original table. Product came as described but when assembling, the wood on the base splintered. I glued and clamped so it is fixed. Not noticeable unless you look for it but still. Otherwise great, lightweight table and works for the room
