This mattress was a life saver! I bruised my tailbone badly while my husband was critically ill in the hospital, and I was suddenly unable to sleep in the recliner in his room. I ordered the 18in so I would be almost on the same level as his bed. It literally inflates (and deflates) in 3 minutes! It is very comfortable, the fabric top keeps even a flat sheet in place so you don't have to have a fitted sheet. I don't usually write such glorious reviews, but I was so impressed! Why did you pick this product vs others?: I purchased this product because it was too hot to sleep in our master bedroom on the 2nd floor since we have poor air conditioning. Took a few days to get use to sleeping on this air mattress but I love it now. Looks like we will be sleeping in our living room most of the summer. Definitely worth the investment and I would recommend to purchase. All you need to do is plug in and turn the knobs and the mattress fills up within minutes. ... show more

I just brought this mattress camping with me and it held up great. Unfortunately a storm hit and I had to abandon ship quite quickly. My only criticism is the manual deflation is nearly impossible to do fully. I'm sure it was quite comical watching me try to deflate it without using power. But boy does this inflate quickly. I only had to add air a couple times and that was because I was in the heat. And it's stretched out as pvc does. The mattress was nice and thick and very comfortable, and very easy to use as well. This bed is awesome. It is sturdy enough to withstand the toenails of 4 dogs. 3 Shih-tzu's and one Mastador. (Half British Mastiff and half Black Labrador Retriever. 80 pounds). I had my doubts about all those toenails but the bed has survived and is still intact. It also provides a wonderful night's sleep. The day after my first night of sleep was the first time in years that I woke up without a backache. The bed is firm from the time it is blown up until the next day when it is deflated.
