This is a pretty great inflatable mattress. The material is reasonably thick and doesn't puncture easily, although not for lack of trying if I'm honest. The top has a soft, flocked kind of feel, which is nicer than just the bare PVC for both comfort and not sliding off of the mattress in the middle of the night. It inflates and deflates reasonably quickly and has a decent carry bag that it actually fits back into after the first use. The only downside is that it uses a 110V pump rather than 12V, so you either need access to electric power or have a battery pack with a 110V AC inverter and outlet. ... show more

Picked up for my daughter's summer adventures, and so far she's used it at her friend's houses, on a camping trip, in her summer dorm, and at Grandpa's house. It's comfortable, it's got a great height, and is easy enough that my kid didn't hassle me to figure it out for her when she was learning how to use it. Air mattresses have come a long way and are much more comfortable now than when I was younger. They are super durable and the comfort is almost good enough to almost want them to make some sort of permanent air mattress for your bedroom like how they used to with waterbeds back in the day. They're really so much nicer than they used to be. And they can hold so much more weight now because of the chambered/core pillar layout that it's impressive. They really can hold more than one person, comfortably, without being destroyed. This one is a good value, and the built in pump makes it even more worth your money. It's just so convenient. The pump was, comparatively, pretty quiet, too. Way lower volume than the vacuum cleaners we used to have to use to pump up the old school mattresses. You really can't go wrong with this. I have been sleeping on air mattresses for several years now and love them. I have since moved to a smaller space and needed to change out my queen air mattress for this size. I will say that I wish it was about 2" taller as my queen was 24" and this is 18" so had it been just 2" taller, it would be more on the same level as the queen I had to give up. I do love how fast these internal pump air mattresses blow up and they are great for tweaking the firmness - I love my air mattress very firm, but it can be a bit more "squishy" if you like it that way! I will say that I have always had a 1" piece of foam on top of my air mattress to give it a more "mattress" feel to it which may be something others might try as well, but making up an air mattress is easy. It is light weight and can be moved around easily to put a fitted sheet on (I do keep a small rug under the mattress as well to help is stay in place and not make "squeaky" noises when moving around on the bed). The bottom line is, this air mattress is great for a quick spare bed or, in my case, everyday sleeping use. ... show more

Over the last year, I have had some experience with a couple air mattresses at my daughter’s house and my son’s. I can honestly say that this twin mattress is as good or better than the ones I used at their houses. The mattress is made of a strong rubber like material with a soft felt like upper surface. The height is good. I am 5’5” tall and I can sit on it and get up from it easily. Fully inflated it feels pretty firm and actually comfortable with pillows and cozy blankets. The set up and take down is quick and easy. The mattress self inflates and deflates in a few minutes though I did not time it. When it deflates it flattens out very nice making it easy to fold together and roll back up and into the carry bag. The power cord is kind of short, so it needs to be close to an outlet for inflation and deflation. The cord tucks away nicely into its storage compartment. This mattress is ideal for guests, traveling, and camping. The quality and height is so much better than the ones I grew up using in the 70’s. This product is a great value. ... show more

It's got everything you need, including some repair patches, although I think you'll only need those if something metal and sharp punctures it. It's heavy duty and has a quality build. The pump that is built into the mattress will inflate it in just a few minutes. It will deflate it too. There's also a port for manual inflation/deflation. Adjusting the level of inflation for comfort was no problem. The mattress also sits high on the ground, about the same height as a couch. Guests wont feel like they are sleeping on the floor at all, which is a minor psychological win. I like that the edge of the mattress has a contour. if you roll over to the edge, the contour does a good job of keeping you on the mattress. I slept on this for 1 night and in the morning felt as if I had slept in a bed. It folds up pretty small and comes with a storage bag. ... show more
