To add a cute pop of color or soft play area to an already carpeted room, this is great. However, it’s not very functional as a rug on hardwood because it’s very thin and has practically zero padding. The “fur” is very soft, so it feels nice under your feet. However, if it was used on a hard surface it would still hurt if you fell on it or after sitting on it awhile. I’m using it in a carpeted room to add some softness for my dog, so I’m not so concerned with how thick it is. My dog does seem to really like it. He has been laying on it and playing with his toys since I laid it on the floor. Overall, I think it would be a cute addition to a room as a decoration, but maybe not as a stand alone rug on a hard surface. ... show more
