After going out on a whim and purchasing an Upholstered Button Tufted Platform bed and a Tuft & Needle mattress on Amazon, I added to the adventure and purchased this Chic Home 9 piece Brenton Bedding set. I SO scored!!! The grey set looks great on my beige bed. Its a simple clean modern look and the elegance of the bed (which is super inexpensive btw) gives it a classic feel. The only issue is that it was really wrinkled when I took it out of the packaging but I took an iron to it, gave it a little steam...and whalah, a perfect set! It still doesn't look as perfectly ironed as the what you see pictured. There are gathers that prevent that clean of a wrinkle free look but it's still lovely. Oh there are lines in the design of the comforter and at first I thought I wasn't lining them up properly as they were offset to one side and not centered but when I looked at the photo, I have the bedding line design vertical and the way it is pictured is horizontal. I like it vertical. Its your choice. Point is, it works whatever way you decide to throw this beauty across your bed. It is a lovely set that is versatile in its feminine or masculine appeal. You can easily purchase some floral pillow accents to fem it up a bit or leave it as is for a masculine or simpler less ornate look. Either way, you will not be disappointed in this purchase... unless you don't like to iron ;) ... show more

I purchased this set for a guest room and felt certain that the quality would be so-so, given the price. I was wrong!! The comforter is exceptional cozy and the pillows are quite cute! (I fluffed them up in the dryer). The set was well worth the money and I recommend purchasing it.

I already had this exact comforter in a queen size. We ended up getting a king platform bed. I looked all over for another comforter that was neutral like this one. So I ended up buying this again in the king size. Obviously I really like the quality. It washes and dries nicely. No issues with it.

My only complaint is that it isn't as fluffy as the picture, but honestly I have never bought a set that is. It really is a fantastic set. We use this bed set in our master bedroom and are not overly excited about it. After about a month some of the stitching in the comforter has come loose which isn't obvious from far away but I worry that it will get worse over time. Also, I chose gray thinking that I could use just about any color sheets. Not true, somehow other colors don't really look good with this shade of gray and I've had to settle for white sheets. On the plus side, the comforter is very warm in the colder months and very soft. This set is alright but I think it would be better in a guest bedroom where it is used less and the possibility of stitching being pulled is reduced. ... show more
