These plush velvet blue drapes are exactly what I was looking for. I've always had white curtains in the dinning room to let all the light in. Now since electricity has reached an all time high I decided to get a set of dark drapes to help keep the heat out. These drapes when pulled to make the room very dark and I can tell a difference in the room temperature during the day if I leave them closed. They match the blue shag carpet perfectly. I'm very pleased with these curtains. They're fabulous, look good. And they're super soft! LoL I'm not sure if putting these in a washing machine would be the best way to clean them even though the listing says you can. I think just a good pat down and vacuuming would be sufficient because the material looks very delicate. If you decide to get these know that they are on the heavy side, so you may need to check the nails and screws on your wall mounts if they are loose and jiggly like mine were to keep your rods from falling and tighten them up. 5 stars. they are not bad looking curtains, but the online picture, looks nicer than upon arrival. somewhat thin, & not blackout. the color is almost like a denim blue. Definitely not thick & plush. Will be returning.

This is a nice set of drapes. I ordered the 96” length in pewter gray. The curtains are a good weight, heavy enough to hang well but not completely opaque. The fabric is soft and has a cool sort of lightly crushed velvet texture. The color is hard to read in the small pictures on the description. I couldn’t decide if I needed the taupe or the gray. I’m still not sure that one would be significantly different than the other but I’m happy with the silver. I think it’s a warm, cool tone decision and in this room, I opted for the cooler silver and I’m happy. I hesitated about ordering drapes in velvet thinking they might look too warm in the summer. Instead, the fabric looks like it’s cool, with almost a metallic vibe. It will work year round in our space. I had pre-existing hardware but the drapes come with nicely finished tie backs. The seams look good and the bottom hem is generous. I took them out of the package and hung them, no ironing or steaming required. The overall look is lush and serene.
