The color of the case is perfect, it’s a purple/blue mixture, but mostly blue. I bought it specifically for the magnetic purpose of it but using it with my magnetic car phone holder it’s a little bit weak. I’d almost rather stick a magnet onto my phone rather than use this case, however, it does work worth the holder. The blue case online seems a bit purple, but it is actually blue! The case fits perfectly, feels nice and smooth, and seems pretty reliable. This isn't an otter box or a life proof so I wouldn't say the case is drop proof, but I would say it will protect your phone enough to help.
