This chest/shoulder holster is, indeed, a good value for the money. The adjustment buckles are brass-colored metal and that offers an assurance of the sturdiness of the holster. The buckling clasps are plastic, however, and that inspires a bit less confidence. Slick metal clasps would increase the price of the holster, I am aware, but it would be nice if they were made of metal. The construction of the holster makes it very useful for owners of multiple pistols. I won’t list my entire stable, but I can name three of my very different pistols to illustrate how versatile is this modestly priced holster: Taurus Model 85 .38 Special Snubnose (2” barrel), Glock G19X 9mm (4.02” barrel) and Taurus Model 627 Tracker .357 Magnum (4” barrel). Sewn into the holster is a compartment for an additional magazine or speed loader, so that I can carry an extra magazine of 9mm or a speed loader to carry additional revolver cartridges. This thing actually fits the “big boy” tools (.50) and distributes weight well. Great if you’re working long days or shooting.,.. content in the field. Canvas is tough and the leather gives it longevity.
