The durability of this product is good, and the value for money is great. I did have a piece of this set break and it’s impossible to find a replacement individually. Uses non-standard connections. If you break an essential piece, you may need to buy an entirely new set.

    • You get what you pay for.
Great product nothing came broken and everything was in the kit. You do get what you pay for but a great starter kit for anyone just starting distillation I will say that quality matches price and the equipment came roughly ground down but works well enough to learn.

the craftmanship was very low quality. The condenser was using an inner glass coil that didn't fall consistently like it should, rather it would trap fluid on every loop of the way in a total horizontal position.

    • The instructions were not very clear.
I wish it would have come with better instructions and better pictures or even a link for a video on how to put it together. The rod that connects to the plate needs to be longer in order to attach the hydrosol container. Not sure what the asbestos thing is for. And other small things that I don't know what are needed for. Larger and more clear instructions and a link for a video would be great. Until then its just taking up space. ... show more

    • Cool setup but my Serpentine condensing tube is defective.
Love the setup works well for what it is but the condensing tube is faulty or broken and is letting water contaminate the hydrosol by letting cooling water into the tube Sent seller feed back we will see if they reach out
