    • They spelled "Protectant" wrong, I think they meant to spell it "Stripper Perfume".
This was my first purchase of a Chemical Guys product, and man, am I disappointed. I've tried a lot of interior cleaners and detailers and this one is def at the bottom. The description on the bottles says that it cleans and protects. Does it protect? Who knows, time will tell. Does it clean? Hell to the no. At best, this is a low grade dusting product that smells like that cheap bachelor party stripper you got for Uncle Jerry. My vehicle wasn't very dirty, as I clean it fairly often. This product didn't clean the surfaces as all, all it did was put a stinky layer of product that hopefully, at the very least, will protect from UV rays. It says it cleans dirt. False. Any little bit of dirt stayed right where it was at. Lets talk about the scent. Bleh. I hate to break it to you people, but this product fooled you with the scent. Its like when you tell your wife you are going to clean the house, but all you do is light a "clean linen" candle and BOOM, she compliments on how clean the space is! Same thing. Perception is reality when it comes to your nose. There is only one reason to have this kind of terrible smell, to take your attention away from the fact that it didn't clean and it didn't make anything even look clean. It also leaves nice streaks on touch screens. Interior car detailer and pineapple go well together - said no one ever. This product failed those of us who like to clean our cars. Dang. On a side note, I hear some of the other Chemical Guys products are really good. I myself will go back to Maguire's, never a disappointment. PS: To those with light colored interior with stained roofing fabric and other stained fabric, did you not think that spraying a YELLOW liquid on your fabric would stain it? Durrr! ... show more

Do not recommend. The pineapple scent is kind of nice but too fruity/strong and gives me a headache. It doesn't leave you with that clean car smell that some products do. Wasn't impressed by the quality either. Had to run over the same area a few times and even then it still didn't clean some of the spots off completely. Honestly don't waste your money, Mothers care car is way better and you can find at any auto store in the area. ... show more

These chemical guys nailed this one. I've tried maybe ten interior products. My former favorite was the Audi cockpit care. This is better. First photo look camera left; that's the Audi product. Nice bit of sheen and repels dust. Camera right on the dash is this product. Second photo is this product on a notoriously tough area; perfect. So here's the difference. This product you apply the same way and wipe, but it leaves no trace you can detect, just a factory look. It wipes off zero streaks first pass and dust around the controls accumulates less and when touched there's no fingerprint or smear. The feel is as if nothing is there. That's critically important on the knobs handles and steering wheel. As a bonus this appears to clean leather. Treat with leather cleaner second, but first pass with this you'll see the dirt removed. recently was introduced to chemical guys products. (my local detailer uses their products and told me about them) i ordered this, and it arrived quickly. simply spray a SMALL amount on a microfiber cloth and wipe down the interior of your car. leaves A CLEAN , NON GREASY matte feel. no more slippery armor-all type feel.. this is a little more expensive than what you find locally in walmart or target. but it's made here in the USA and does a great job. less is better. a little goes a long way, unless of course your interior is very dirty. update 4/22/18*** hands down, best interior cleaner i've found. leaves a nice clean scent that isn't greasy! don't waste time with other products, only buy chemical guys, you will be glad you did! ... show more

I used this product on my first ever interior car detail service and first let me say it smells awesome. It's like a sugar citrus almost. It was used on a 2017 Hyundai Sonata that had 100K miles and 4 HUSKIES that frequented the car as well as children. In this included 2 black ink pens that had broken and gotten ink all over the interior door panels, grime and stains and a MELTED CANDLE on the dash. It removed the pen ink with just a few sprays and some scrubbing. It also removed the melted candle. Truly this cleaner has earned its title as the "gold standard" ... show more

I bought this to clean the white interior in my wife's Tesla. This stuff gently cleans anything off those seats. It also nicely cleans the dash, wood (maybe wood... probably plastic) trim, steering wheel, all weather floor mats... it's awesome stuff. The smell is pleasant, and it doesn't overstay its welcome and then turn in to some old musty smell. It just fades away after a few hours. Also... it doesn't off-gas and haze up the windows like a lot of other interior cleaners... HUGE bonus. ... show more

The scent seemed off to me so I went to local stores that sell it and compared them. The one I received from Amazon was very off. It resembled it a little bit, but smelled a lot less strong and fruity. A very noticeable difference. Not sure if it’s old, wasn’t stored properly or was altered in some way. I tried the product on some surfaces before finding out it was off and the product was ineffective. It was like spraying water on my cars dash. It didn’t clean, protect or prevent. Thankfully, it didn’t damage or stain anything. Waste of money. Stick to a known store that carries this product. ... show more
