These pads worked fine while they lasted.....which was one car. I have been buffing vehicles for years. Orange (compounding) pad, and Black (fine polish) pad came away from the Velcro backing after just about one full vehicle buff. Poor quality, and it should be expected to get more than a single use out of these pads for the price. I should have listened to the reviews.

I purchased to use with a porter cable 7424xp My car has been regularly washed and hand waxed, and I’ve always thought it looked pretty good after a wax but this was first time I have machine waxed it (it’s a 2014 Passat). I washed and clayed, then used compound and polish and finished off with wax. removing each product and buffing by hand w a microfiber. This was a very lengthy process but I cannot even begin to describe how much better it looks, not a swirl mark left, might look better than when I bought it! As for the pads I have zero complaints they loaded well and held up great, I believe I could do many many more vehicles with no issues. The backing remains firmly attached and there is no sign of wear. The pad cleaner is AMAZING! Just a few sprays and rubbing by hand followed by a rinse with warm water and they look good as new!! I’ve never seen anything that rinsed wax off that well! Pictures show how well even the white pad looks after cleaning and how much of the cleaner was used for cleaning all three once.

I have had chemical guys pads before and never never had I had one just desinegrate while I was polishing a panel. I did not hit anything, the pad was not getting hot, I used the pad conditioner, I even worked the product into the pad before starting and put five more dots on the pad, but the white pad just blew up in my face. The whole center of the pad just came out. I have never had that happen. I have heard meguiars pads work good maybe I will try those. Chemical Guys let me down this time. This was also the very first time I used the pad since purchasing it. I only did 2 panels. What a joke. Maybe I got some fake ones. Will never purchase chemical guys from amazon again. Only order straight from their website so I can't mistake the product for a fake.

I am giving this review a 4 out of 5 stars for the simple reason that I'm not sure if it is a defect with the Chemical Guys spray bottle or what but it does seem to leak when received upon shipping. Luckily none of the pads were affected but if they were it wouldn't be that big of a deal as this is again a pad cleaner lol. I'm extremely happy with the quality of the hex pads and combined with the Menzerna products I used for paint correction I wouldnt trade these pads for anything else. But let me tell you about this cleaner this cleaner is absolute life it works excellent all you have to do is follow instructions that are on the bottle and your pads will come out looking like new every single time! Pictures don't lie

I wanted to share my paint correction success with you and hopefully help someone in a similar situation, for cheap. I ran down the road in my dads truck and forgot to put my dogs inside the house. They seen my truck and thought I was in it. They were jumping up and down both sides of the truck, leaving claw marks around the entire vehicle. I never really had much experience with paint correction, but did a little homework and this setup worked really well for me. Chemical Guys V36 polishing compound (on bad spots). V38 polishing compound (on mild scratches and swirls). I bout the Zota polisher from amazing for $80 bucks. It’s actually a great buffer for the money! I ended with black light wax from chemical guys. Total cost to do paint correction: 6 hours of labor. $80 buffer. $25 chemical guys 6.5” buffing kit. $40 polishing compound kit (v32, v34, v36, v38). $27 black light wax. Total cost: $172.00 Ps. I have plenty of product to do multiple repairs in the future. Well worth the money

All pads seem to fit my Chicago Electric 6" dual action polisher I bought at Harbor Freight and work as described. They seem to hold up a little bit better than the pads I purchased at Harbor Freight which are less expensive.

This is the second time I’ve bought this kit. The first one has lasted me about two years and still in usable condition. It is starting to fray a little where the pad connects to the hook and loop pad. This second set will last me longer because I have learned how to properly polish with these pads. One tip when removing these from the buffer is to pinch the hook and loop pad and the polish pad in a manner that does not pull the pad from the hook and loop. It can tear apart if you Just removing it by tugging on the hook and loop area.
