I used with a weak bleach solution (1 tablespoon Clorox per gallon of water) to disinfect kitchen countertops. I had high hopes for this bottle given its positive reviews and its heavy duty description. However, after just two months of being used as my kitchen cleaner spray bottle, the neck of the sprayer cap cracked, making the spray bottle unusable. Stay away from this piece of S**t. If I could leave zero stars I would I filled it with a chemical guys product and it leaks and only sprays in a stream not a spray. This was a waste of money. Real junk.

These sprayers are awful. They only work if you hold them perfectly level when there's 16 oz or less in them. If you tip them to spray a horizontal surface it just starts sputtering and doing nothing. I have sprayers I've reused from other cleaners in my house that are a significant upgrade over this and you know those are made as cheaply as possible. Somehow Chemical Guys figured out a way to make them even cheaper and more useless. I have some unused ones of these that I just plan on throwing out so I can buy a better product. ... show more

    • GREAT BOTTLE SO FAR!!!! - see update!!

Update: the bottle itself is good however the nozzle where it threads to the bottle and the trigger breaks after 8-10 uses. I've gone through 3 triggers and it's not worth the cost. The replacement triggers are just a smidge less than the bottle with the trigger. Find something better these bottles are too expensive and doesn't last!! I just had the opportunity to try out one of the 2 bottles I bought and I'm quite happy with it so far. I put in Clorox Cleanup as this is something I use most in my household. Let me tell you, the new bottles Clorox Cleanup comes in sucks so I had to look for an alternative. After spending money on those cheap bottles from Walmart, and throwing those away because they either didn't work to begin with, or broke soon after, I did some research Amazon. Decided to try this bottle out and so far I LOVE IT. I can get actual "sprays" or turn the knob and get sharp spray if I need it. It's easy to use, feel comfortable when spraying, and yes worth the money I paid. It costs alittle more than what you get elsewhere, but if this bottle can last a few months or couple of years, that's be AWESOME!! Maybe a follow up with be coming in the future. ... show more

    • The best spray bottle, ever.
Style: Acid Resistant Sprayer
I bought one of these over a year ago and used it for an acid sanitizer made from dodecylbinzinfloronic acid. Then I used it for another cleaner made from phosphoruc acid. Then it sat full of acid for a couple months, and i had some stepping stones to stain with hydrochloric acid so I bought another spray bottle. But, i figured I'd try the old one, just in case. Still worked like new. Then, I had some rusty fence to convert with tannic acid and phosphoric acid, no problem. Then I etched some galvanized flashing with muriatic acid, then I blued a gun with phosphoric acid and sulfuric acid. I still haven't had to unwrap the new one. The original has sprayed gallons of pretty strong acids without any problems. If you think this sprayer doesn't hold up, then take a chemistry class. Acid isn't the same thing as bleach, acetone, or laquer thinner. This works great for acid. ... show more

Sadly the bottle holds up but the sprayer does not and normally cracks when tightened. These need a better design for the bottle they are sold with in my opinion. As you will see in the photo. I am going to have to either change sprayers or bottles. Also I think Clorox bleach destroys these and could be part of the issue. ... show more

Somehow I was thinking this would be a little more 'heavy duty" or thicker plastic. Not sure what I was thinking but all the advertising hype about it being chemical resistant by the Chemical guys, etc.. Well, it's the same bottle I could get at Family Dollar or Dollar General for a dollar. I see the word 'Taiwan' on it which tells me something. It's ok and it will work for what I want, but it's certainly not worth that price. Disappointed but life goes on. ... show more
