  • Casual shirt you can wear anytime of the year
Size: 4X-Large Color: Charcoal
The shirt fits nicely, although I wouldn't mind a bit more length. It still works for me, and I appreciate the flexibility of being able to roll up the sleeves or wear them down. It's my first time owning a shirt with this feature, and it proves to be quite convenient, making it a versatile casual option throughout the year. The material gives off a sense of good quality, and it has a decent thickness to it. I think it’s a little pricey and would likely check out other options as sure the shirt is decent but nothing really drawing me back into it. ... show more

  • Love The Sleeve Tabs
Size: XX-Large Color: Charcoal
Let's face it, people may be the same height and weight proportions, but arm length and leeg length can vary. For some of us, it varies a LOT. The cuffs button tight enough to keep from zooming over most hands without being unbuttoned, but the real bonus, to me, is the way you can roll it above the elbow and button the cuffs to make it a short sleeve shirt. Where I live, there are not many days requiring more than a sweater, but I have gone to work without one and come out to find the temperature has dropped a lot. The adjustable sleeves allow you to go to work in a warm clime and survive that sudden drop when you come out to find a chill. ... show more

  • Fits well even in larger sizes
Size: 4X-Large Color: Blue
This shirt looks like a heavy material, but its surprisingly light, stretchy and comfortable. My sig other is between a 3X and 4X, and the 4X fits him nicely without being baggy. Its hard to find larger size shirts that still hold their shape, hang well and fit appropriately. The blue color is rich and professional looking in a work environment, but also looks great as a casual shirt with the sleeves folded and buttoned up. • Nice shirt but has an odd fit
Size: Large Color: Blue
Today I'm reviewing the Chef Works Men's Modern Oxford Classic Shirt. I'm not sure how a shirt can be both modern and classic at the same time. I guess that's where the problem I have with this shirt comes into play. First, I just want to say that I like the material the shirt is made of, and I like the color. I wear a size large, and I ordered a size large, and it fits mostly as expected. The sleeves are just the right length, and the shirt is the right length, but the neck opening is very large comparatively. I can button the top button of this shirt and I still have plenty of room between the shirt and my neck. So, I won't be wearing a tie with this shirt. It will be more of a casual shirt. My other complaint is the pocket. I like the double-pocket feature, so I can keep pens separate from other items in my pocket. But I don't like the strange angle of the bottom of the pocket. It tilts upward. Maybe this is a part of the modern design, but I prefer a pocket that is symmetrical on the bottom. My final complaint is that the underarms of this shirt are designed in an odd way so that when I raise my arms, the entire shirt raises up. Normally, the arms of a shirt are designed so that you have room to move your arms to a certain degree up or down. But the underarms of this shirt are fairly tight and every time I lift my arms, even a little, the short moves up. That part I don't like at all. So, although the size of the shirt is correct, it just doesn't fit properly because of the odd design. Overall, I think the price point of this shirt is more than what it should be, considering all of the shirt's shortcomings. This will likely end up being a home shirt. ... show more

  • Nice casual or business casual shirt
Size: X-Large Color: Charcoal
I would compare this shirt to Columbia fishing shirts only for an environment that is less outdoorsy. They have the ability to roll up the sleeves and button them as well as some nice chest pockets. The fabric is nice and light but comfortable. I wish it had slightly more length, though. Overall, this is a very nice casual shirt or could even be worn in a casual office setting. ... show more

  • work shirt masquerading as a dress shirt
Size: Large Color: Charcoal
I've probably seen shirts like this worn by waiters, which isn't surprising considering this is made by Chef Works whose lineup seems tailored for the restaurant worker community. There's a special pocket inside the regular pocket to hold a pen. It's long enough to hold my sunglasses. You can roll up and fasten the sleeves for busing tables or washing dishes. And there's a button halfway between the neck and usual first button to wear semi-casually but still be appropriate for working. Or to wear a tie loosely without open gapping in the shirt below it. There is plenty of length to tuck in and enough room for full range of motion without untucking. As for fitment, I got size Large and it fits me perfectly. I am 6'1", 230lb, 17" neck, 42" chest, 36" waist, and 35" arm length. The fabric is stiff, typical of a cotton/poly blend. it should resist wrinkling and shrinking. It isn't very breathable though and I wouldn't wear it in temperatures above 74 degrees or in direct sunlight. It's more for indoor wear or on cool, shady days. Overall, I do like the shirt and it works for both restaurant workers and casual wear who wants a semi-dressy shirt. ... show more
