In general I like it. I wish the cords was longer and taking a star off because I would like to tie it in front. It has a few features that are purely cosmetic, but it dose look nice so it works. It is a bit stiff and I probably would be happier with the 12oz version for kitchen use, but being heavier cloth makes it more versatile. It's heavy enough to wear in a shop. Then again being heavy cotton duct tying it up front would be uncomfortable. All the leather parts aren't real leather, not pleather either. Not sure what material these are. These parts do seem fairly sturdy and look nice. So there is that. The hardware doesn't seem high quality but more then enough for a kitchen apron. If I was to use it in a craft shop with power tools I would replace the hardware to real brass. With all this being said this apron is well worth the $20 price. Real leather and real brass would double the price and this is more then sturdy enough for it's intended use. ... show more

This apron is truly heavy duty, just as described. It is heavy duty cotton canvas and appears to be very high quality fabric. The tabs on the trim are plastic. I was confused by the similar appearance and description of this 19.99 apron to another apron on Amazon, also Afun, photo identical, but price $5.00 less. I queried and rufus answer was not helpful in distinguishing any difference in the aprons. I decided to also order the less expensive apron to do my own comparison. What I found is that the $19.99 version is much thicker and heavier than the $14.99 version. So my advice would be: If you intend to use the apron as protection when grilling or occupational use, get this version. If its only for casual cooking, the thinner one could be adequately protective of stains on clothes, while feeling lighter and cooler. ... show more
