I'm very happy about this purchase! My goal was to start eating more vegetables/salads, and I needed a way to expedite the process and make it as easy as possible. I like that I can just throw all the ingredients I need inside the bowl and chop them in a matter of seconds. Works great, and I have used it almost every day for about a month. The only thing I'm wondering is how to sharpen it when it gets dull. It has a great grip, easy to use and to clean. I would just be super careful with the blades, because they are pretty sharp. Great product to simplify your everyday routine.

My husband (who loves to cook!!) had a stroke last year. Using a traditional knife was quite difficult with one hand. The mezaluna is made for one handed cutting and allowed my husband to do most of his own prep work again! He has 2 of them. One to wash in the dishwasher and one to use while the other one washes. I put it in the very back of the top rack in the middle with the blade up. This reduces the chances of injury from the blade. VERY SHARP BLADE! So be extra careful! I use it as well and really like how effectively it cuts. My husband has a special cutting board with spikes on it to hold the food in place. This allows him to cut securely and the mezaluna makes quick work of food prep!

It's a good knife and chops well. However, I find it hard to clean due to the double edge and I'm afraid of slicing my finger when washing it by hand. Also, when chopping, stuff gets stuck in between the edges and you have to pull it out to chop consistently. Again, this can lead to cuts and slows things down. I find the handle a bit uncomfortable. I use it for chopping herbs and salad veggies. I'll keep it, but if I were to buy again, I'd buy the one blade mezzaluna. Otherwise, good product.

This knife isn't as sharp as other rocker knives I've had. It will cut easy things but isn't quite sharp enough to easily cut through a chicken breast. It's not terrible, but I wouldn't recommend it.

I bought this in 2018. 7 years later in 2025, it still works and looks brand new. It chops salads well and even works to make guacamole if you don’t have the right tool for that.
