Back cover lifts from the corner with a light pry, plastic flexing just enough to come free without forcing. Battery settles into the slot cleanly, contacts lining up on the first try, cover pressing back on evenly until the edges sit flush again. Included case slips over the frame right away, corners wrapping tight and holding without stretching or fighting back. Power button responds with a short press, screen waking while the phone rests against the palm. SIM tray slides out, card needs a small nudge before sitting flat, then moves back in without resistance. Display shifts slightly when angled toward the window, icons staying readable without adjustments. Weight pulls forward a bit during one-hand scrolling, noticeable after a few passes. Speaker opening brushes fabric when placed into a pocket, sound dulling briefly. Phone ends up face down on the counter, case edges level, everything staying where it lands.

Had to returned because this phone is not compatible with T-Mobile. I have regular T-Mobile, not Metro and when I inserted the SIM card, it said that some services would not work on the device. This leads me to believe this is not a fully compatible phone. I’m also not confident in the quality of the device. It was able to charge to 100% but in less than a week, the device would not stay powered on. The battery would indicate that it was charged fully, but the screen would go black. Also, I was unable to change the date shown on the phone. It was stuck on 1/6/25!! And the option to reset the time and date was darkened and not clickable to make an adjustment. I bought this for an elderly family member who has little demands from my phone… just basic calling. But if the phone is not compatible with a SIM card and cannot remain powered on, it’s of no use.
