    • Don't wire it up the way they say.
When I installed this, I wired it exactly the way the manual said. PWM wired to the CPU Fan header on the MB, CPU fan to the CPU fan header on the controller, and all other case fans to the other fan headers on the controller. What this did was make all the case fans run at the speed the motherboard intends for JUST the CPU fan. This meant that all the fans ran faster than they needed, and slight changes in CPU activity noisily changed the speed of all the fans at once. It was distracting. So instead I took the CPU fan and wired that to the CPU fan header on the MB and the PWN wire from the controller onto the sys fan header on the MB. This greatly quieted the whole machine and majorly reduced the distracting noise level changes when system load changed, all without much noticeable difference in thermals. My rating above is based on how well it performs in this configuration, and NOT how well it performs in its intended configuration. ... show more

Honestly, if your on a budget for a fan hub, this is the best option. In total (including CPU fans) I have 6 case fans on my Antec case. All 8 fans run great and have not ran into a single issue with this product since I have owned it for a couple of months now. Instructions are super simple to understand and install. Only bad thing is, if you have programmable RGB fan lighting, go with a brand that best suits your needs. All in all, the delivery was quick and installation was painless. ... show more

Replaced included controller with the Antec Prizm 120's. Better cable management, magnetic backing, solidi connections. Get the RGB hub too if your fans have it.

    • Unique little gadget
Allowed me to route all my fan cables, using extensions, to the back of my case. One wire then runs to whatever fan connector on the motherboard you choose. ALL fans now respond at the same time. Only one fan is actually monitored for RPM but since all fans are running at the same RPM this is not an issue. ... show more
