I've tried different toilet paper brands over the years, but Charmin has the best quality. I've also tried the Charmin Strong vs Charmin Soft, and I prefer this Soft kind. It's soft but still strong too. The tissue tears off the roll easily, and I've never had septic issues from it that I'm aware of. The mega rolls are just the right size. Anything bigger won't fit on the holders in my home. I'll cheap out on a lot of things, but toilet paper isn't one of them. Definitely worth the cost. ... show more

We’ve been buying Charmin Ultra Soft for years, and this Family Mega pack stays on a once-a-month Subscribe & Save for a reason. Each delivery comes with two full packages in one box, and for a family of five, that’s more than enough to comfortably get us through the month without running out or panic-ordering mid-cycle. The paper itself is genuinely soft — not “marketing soft,” but actually comfortable — while still being strong enough to hold together. No surprise tears, no overusing sheets, and no second guessing. The Family Mega rolls last noticeably longer than standard rolls, which means fewer roll changes and fewer “who finished it?” conversations. Absorbency is solid, lint is minimal, and it’s been completely fine with our plumbing and septic system. Bottom line: reliable, comfortable, and boring in the best possible way.
