Let’s be really honest! We don’t often talk about toilet paper unless it’s bad. But the Amazon Brand,Presto! 2-Ply Ultra-Soft Toilet Paper, deserves its moment of glory. First off, the value is unbeatable! You get 24 Family Mega Rolls that somehow equal 120 regular ones. I don’t know what kind of toilet paper math that is, but I’m not questioning it. All I know is my bathroom closet looks like I’m ready for a nationwide TP shortage. I have TP in the closet, under counters, in drawers, you name it! I never want to run out! Now to the important stuff: this TP does not tear when things get serious. My finger has never once made unauthorized contact with the brown forbidden zone. That, my friends, is true luxury. It’s soft but sturdy, gentle enough for my sensitive areas, and somehow manages to avoid that “snowstorm of paper dust” that cheaper brands leave behind. No TP cuts, no linty residue, and it even doubles as a decent tissue in a pinch. I can blow my nose with it and not end up looking like Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. That’s a win during allergy season! In short, Presto! nailed it. It’s like a cloud and a fortress had a baby and my Presto brand is soft, strong, and reliable. Highly recommend. Been buying these on Subscribe & Save for a few years now. Was always impressed by the softness and durability of the toilet paper. It was double-ply and thicker, like how "old" Charmin used to be a decade ago. However, this last order I received had the exact same packaging, but the toilet paper is now thinner to the touch and feels more rough and stiff. It's NOT the same product that it was even a year ago. Also, I did not write a review about this but approximately a year ago, the toilet paper rolls got shorter. You know how that goes: a sneaky way for manufacturers to take a fraction off your purchases while charging you the same price. I will continue to purchase it but I just want Amazon to know that customers like me are noticing the changes...and not for the better!

Our family normally buys Charmin but one day on Amazon a recommendation came up for Presto. Obviously nobody wants "gas station" type toilet paper so I was a bit hesitant to purchase it. I have 2 adults and 3 kids in my household so that's an earful of something as important as tp is not liked. Amazon has never disappointed so I figured give it a try and worst case save them for "emergencies" in the future (but sense we use Amazon subscribe and save its rare we run out of anything). Well I told my wife I bought it and she was less than pleased to say the least and said to cancel the order. We'll I decided not to cancel and I'm glad that was the decision. Upon receiving it, the packaging is very professional and without the bargain type look to it. The tissue itself in my opinion is in discernible from any other major QUALITY brand and may even be better. I added the first tool and didn't tell and of the family and guess what? Nobody said a thing. I even tried to get negative comments by saying "I blew my nose and whatever tp that is, is horrible" my wife commented back "Its the normal charmin ultra stuff". So in short is very easily past the test. The mega rolls are very large. Our in wall dispenser holds them just fine but if you have a small dispenser you may need to by the non mega roll. The girls in the house loved the flower design. My one Daugherty said "it's pretty". The paper has no negative comments I can think of and as long as it remains in Stock and at a good price I see no reason we will be changing back and I really encourage you to buy it and try it. I look forward to trying more amazon branded products because this tissue is great quality for sure.

Super absorbent and much more affordable than name brands at these are just as good as on all levels. I highly recommend these paper towels. They are absorbent just like bounty and some of the other name brands and they are by far a better value for your money.

I have suffered from severe TPA (Toilet Paper Anxiety) since I was a child living in a strict "3-square" household. There were times when I had to use 4 squares, and one time when I got food poisoning I went into utter despair and had a panic attack right on the toilet. Fast forward to adulthood, where I had manipulated my anxiety almost into oblivion with Toto washlets in both bathrooms, and (ALWAYS) 3 extra rolls of toilet paper in the spare holder. Sometimes I would go a little crazy and use more squares than I actually needed, and I would laugh out loud and say "Three Squares, HaHa!" But that frivolity came to an abrupt halt in March 2020. In the beginning of Shelter in Place, I generously gave away toilet paper to friends and family who did not have long-standing TPA and therefore had no reserves. I was proud of my TP inventory that existed long before there was a shortage, and felt that something good had come out of my anxiety: the ability to help others. But that too came to an end as the TP shortage did not let up, and other people in my household who usually used the facilities at their workplaces, and were not raised by my mother's 3-square iron fist, seemed almost to devour TP at the same rate as oxygen. All this is to say that yesterday, when I received my first Subscribe and Save 24-count Presto! 308-Sheet Mega Roll Toilet Paper, Ultra-Soft (plush&thick); Lint Control, Septic Safe--the first delivery of toilet paper since my last shipment on February 1, I cried tears of joy and even considered using a square to dab at my eyes, but I hadn't sanitized the package yet, so I used a tissue. After proper protocol was followed, I had a chance to get up close and personal with the product, and I must say, I am so very pleased. I should point out that in addition to my prior Subscribe and Save toilet paper's sudden unavailability at the beginning of March, I had been getting Presto! 24-count 308-Sheet Mega Roll Toilet Paper, Ultra-Strong (thick & flexible); Extra Absorbant, Septic Safe. I was perfectly content with that product, but one small drawback was the overall dimension of each individual roll. As I mentioned, I like to have 3 spares in my spares container, but I had to kind of force each roll down into the cylinder because the rolls were just a little too thick. This was not such a problem when I was able to keep 3 spares in the holder at all times, because one only needed to extract the top roll before I would refill it. Well, this month I received the crushing news that the Presto! Ultra-Strong was no longer available on Subscribe and Save, and so was being cancelled. The replacement was this 24-count Presto! 308-Sheet Mega Roll Toilet Paper, Ultra-Soft (plush & thick); Lint Control, Septic Safe. Each pack of 6 rolls comes in blue packaging instead of purple, and to my great elation, each roll is very slightly smaller...barely noticeable until I began to refill my sad empty spare TP holder. Each roll just slid into that cylinder like butter! I did a jig, then sat down to write this review. Thank you, Amazon 24-count Presto! 308-Sheet Mega Roll Toilet Paper, Ultra-Soft (plush &thick); Lint Control, Septic Safe. Although you are not advertised as Ultra-Strong, you do not make me wish I had something stronger. You are (plush&thick) instead of (thick & flexible), but I don't find you too rigid. You have lint control which I can only imagine will control lint I never knew I had (I will test this feature out, and do a follow up review). Even though you have lost your Extra Absorbent feature in exchange for Lint Control, I do not find myself wishing for more absorbancy. You have made my life complete.
