Color was as pictured and vibrant. The material had a nice thickness but was a bit rough and stiff but considering the price for 10 yards it's a bargain. I plan to use it for costume pieces where the thickness and texture work so it's pretty perfect for that but I wouldn't use it for something like bridal wear where you'd want a very soft satin. Its good material for the price. Its looks amazing. The only thing I had trouble with was the fraying. But I bought fray glue to help with that. If you have time, its good to double fold and sew the ends close. If not, the fray glue works pretty good. The other thing I had trouble with was that the fabric slid a little between each other when I sewed it through the machine. So had to use lots of pins. I'm also a novice, so could be my lack of experience. But over all great material, took it to the ren fest and no tearing and comfortable to move around in. ... show more
