Color: Stoned Rose - warm coral rose
Charlotte Tilbury is the only lipstick I buy. The lipsticks are vegan and cruelty-free, come in a wide array of colors, last on the lips, don't feather or transfer, and don't fall apart in the tube. The tube is attractive enough, and theoretically refillable, except there are refills in only a few colors. The outside of the tube is ridged, making it easier to hang on to, especially if you're as uncoordinated as I am. My skintone is medium/mediterranean, and Stoned Rose is my perfect neutral. Although I normally think of rose as pinkish, Stoned Rose looks way more coral than pink to me. In any case, it's a favorite, and I make sure that I'm never without a tube on hand.

For such a hyped up and expensive lipstick, it was terrible quality. I didn't go on smoothly and it was chalky, like it looked cracked on my lips, which are not dry. Very drying. Don't recommend or if you do, try it with the gloss.

This lipstick is at a very high price point. It's very creamy and the color Penelope Pink is not one that I would normally purchase, but I made the purchase after I saw a make up artist/influencer on social media use it for one of her looks. You will need to reapply it throughout the day because it does not remain after eating, drinking from a glass.... or anything that will remove it from your lips. I normally wear MAC lipsticks because I can find them at a discount at Marshall's. This was a luxury purchase for me.

I bought this based on the reviews and I was very excited to have it. On my lips, the orange undertone is more visible than how it looks on other people's lips, but it does not look bad. It just doesn't look amazing.But just because it doesn't look amazing on me, it doesn't mean that it doesn't look amazing on others.It doesn't dry my lips, but comparing it with other lipsticks, it's not very moisturizing either. As far as lasting on lips, I had to reapply every few hours, and wipe the water bottle each time I took a sip. Overall I am pleased with it, but I had to alter the color with the Red Carpet Red ( also same brand) and it makes is much better looking and lasting.

Color: Nude Kate - light pink-toned nude
I must admit, I was surprisingly disappointed in this lipstick as I had paid extra (than say the Kate Moss Nude range for Rimmel or even Mac) but it had quite a reputation. The texture was quite creamy but it looked bitty and uneven on my lips - which hasn't happened with any other lipstick I own, all nice brands. The colour was not flattering, it seemed so similar to my skin when worn - would have worked if lighter or darker but not the same: I do have a bit of a tan though - it may look better on very pale, or even very dark skin. I liked the packaging and really wanted to like this but it will not be coming out of the drawer, I think. Perhaps try again in winter! For the record, I have light to medium blonde hair, green eyes and yellow undertones to my skin - this may be why it didn't suit as expected.
