There are so many mixed reviews out there on this Charlotte Tilbury set...I don't know what the issue is. I'm a fond user of the brand and understand it's price points/sizes, this is a good value set. The mini lipstick is a step larger above the freebie mini size, the lip gloss is a full size. You're getting a mini lipstick for free basically. Icon baby is a universal rose pink shimmer, lighter than Pillow Talk. (i've read so many reviews on how it's cool toned, or warm or this and that and i was afraid it wouldn't work on my warm netural skin/naturally colored lips. It does work. I would consider this a universal shade, color looks different swatched than just looking at the tube.) Hall of Fame is a faint pink sheer gloss, for some people they might not get any color payoff especially when used alone. The gloss is moisturizing, non sticky. The doe foot applicator could be improved. The two colors used together work great and look beautiful.

I'm generally a fan of Charlotte Tilbury's lip sticks, as they apply smooth and have a squared tip that can help with neatly applying on your cupids bow or defining your look. In this "Icon Baby" lip duo kit you get two products: 1) a travel size lipstick of "Icon Baby" which is like a dark mauve color but applies very thin 2) a full size lip gloss of "Hall of Fame" which is a hydrating lip gloss in a baby pink color but applies almost clear My first impression is that these two colors don't really go together and so while you can wear it together, you really don't have to. Pros: - I like the small travel size of the lipstick, this makes it easy to pack with you on the go and if you have a larger make up collection the smaller footprint is nice. The full size of the lip gloss isn't that big either, it's maybe twice the height of the lipstick - the products do apply nicely and don't have any weird smells or textures. They feel exactly like you'd expect - the package is really nice from the box they come in to the cosmetics themselves so I do think this would make a great set to give as a gift Cons: - the colors are not that pigmented, and apply way thinner and more 'natural' looking than they appear at first glance - applying the lip gloss over the lip stick swipes some of the lipstick product onto the lip gloss' doe foot applicator - because the formulas are quite thin, the lasting power isn't that long - the cosmetic packaging is very light, almost feels low quality I think this set is best used as a gift for a make up lover in your life or someone who is just starting to experiment with different quality make up brands. The quality is there but the color combination isn't quite a match. The formulas do feel good but just aren't super pigmented. I think this alone makes it great for younger folks maybe in middle to early high school.

I’m a big Charlotte Tilbury fan and have not yet used any of her lip products. This Icon Baby Lip Duo seemed like the perfect the start. The soft, rosy colors in this set are right in my wheelhouse. The lipstick comes in a smallish sized rose-coppery tube that dispenses a stick of creamy, satin lipstick in ‘K.I.S.S.I.N.G. - Icon Baby’. It’s a fresh color and the feel of the lipstick on my lips is velvety and lovely. The ‘Lip Lustre - Hall of Fame” shade of gloss comes in a smallish tube and with a sponge tipped wand that delivers a very shiny gloss. It’s not a sticky or tacky gloss, it’s got a nice consistency and it stays on for a good length of time. What I like about this duo is that they really compliment each other and that they feel hydrating on my lips - and look really good! I’ve had compliments on the lipstick shade already. I do not detect any of that chalky smell you often get with less expensive lipsticks; these smell like luxury. Tilbury products are high quality and this set with 2 products priced at about $27, is a very good value for the money.

This set is perfectly-sized for purse or travel, and would make a great gift for any Charlotte Tilbury lover. The lipstick is a mini, and I was slightly worried it would be too pink for me, but it is more of a neutral pink color that I think would be flattering on any skin tone. I love that the lipstick is slightly moisturizing without being oily, and it doesn't have any weird flavor or odor. The color has good longevity and doesn't bleed. The gloss is sheer and what I'd call medium-sticky, enough to add some shine and dimension but not "hair gets all caught in it" sticky. Priced well for a beautifully-presented set from a prestige brand.

The kit comes with a very small lipstick and a lightly pigmented gloss. The combo is very pretty and delicate color on medium skin. The texture of both is smooth and applies easily. The gloss is a little sticky. There is a very soft sweet scent that is pretty. The set is on the pricey side for the size but it is super cute and would be great in my purse or travel.

I've been wearing lipstick for over 50 years and I wear it daily because my lips don't feel right without it. I have my favorite brands and shades but am always willing to try a new one. Charlotte Tilbury's Icon Baby Lip Duo Kit is quite nice. You get the Baby Icon satin finish in a lovely sheer mauve. It's a low shine but still hydrating throughout the day. I love the color and feel so will be wearing this often. The other vial is a high lustre gloss with a sheer pinky tint. Love the tint but can't do the high wet shine. It looked great in '73 when I was glossy too but not now. However my daughter loves it so win win with this product. Easy to apply, good size for the price, good ingredients.
