I know it’s hard to find the foundation that’s just right. This one did great for my sensitive skin. I’m about to be 45, and honestly have never liked wearing much makeup. I love that this is lightweight, and blends well with my skin tone. The foundation has great coverage and a little bit goes a long way! It covered up my freckles and dark spots from scars easily. It is important to know your undertone or even better would be to go to the store and get matched. I love that it is a matte finish so I don’t feel like I need to wipe off excess oil that’s not there. It lasted all day and I didn’t have any issues with smearing onto my husband’s shirt when he hugged me!

Full coverage but HEAVY
Color: 07 Warm - Medium with warm undertones
✅ COLOR / LOOK : I'll cut to the chase: I got the wrong color for my skin tone. I'm usually a "vanilla/light" shade. This is shade 07 warm. Color match fail on my part. In all honesty, I thought I could use this to underpaint. I didn't expect it to be so orange on me. 🙋🏻♀️ MY BACKGROUND: I'm used to using the Loreal Paris True Match Hyaluronic Tinted Serum Foundation. It is lightweight on the skin with a natural glow finish. It is applied with a dropper straight to my skin and blended with the same makeup brush I used to test this foundation. I acknowledge the foundations are wildly different. But this may come in handy for you to know this about me and what me and my skin are used to. I also only ever apply setting powder to my under eye, eye lids, and nose, because I like a somewhat natural finish on the rest of my face. ✅ APPLICATION : One pump was more than enough to do my whole face. So the value for your money is there. It applied fairly evenly. I applied it with a dry makeup brush. ✅ CONSISTENCY : This is full coverage: AKA THICK! Reminded me of stage makeup. It feels HEAVY on the face. The type of foundation you can't WAIT to take off at the end of the day because your skin feels so hot and weighed down. My husband said it even looked heavy. I noticed some "cakeyness" on my cheeks where it hadn't been blended out enough (that one pump, man, packs a punch!). But it does blend out very well with a few brush strokes and didn't seem to ever dry permanently in that "Well, I let it set and now my face is screwed" way. ✅ FINISH : Finish is described as "natural matte," and I would agree. ✅ FLAWLESS, PORE BLURRING, and TRANSFER RESISTANT? I'd have to say no on all accounts. I feel like this accentuated what tiny pumps I already had and it didn't do anything to blur my pores. I tested the transfer resistance on a tissue right after initial application. FAILED: it transferred. I felt that wasn't fair because maybe it hadn't set? I test transfer resistance at the end of the day. FAILED: this time I wondered if it was because my face looked oilier at the end of the day. I'm NOT an oily-skinned girl, btw. So the fact that this flawless matte foundation made me shiny was strange. ✅ LONGEVITY : I didn't notice a huge difference in this compared to my regular makeup. The nose rubbed off (no makeup stands a chance against my allergies!) But I didn't notice any separation in the makeup. Only the unusual shine on my forehead. ✅ FINAL THOUGHTS : This foundation is: - FULL COVERAGE. - Natural Matte (though my forehead was shiny at the end of the day, when it's usually not). - HEAVY on the skin - Not transfer proof. Came off after application and 7 hours after. ✅ SPECIAL OCCASION? If you have a big event like a wedding and you're looking for that full-coverage, and have oil blotters, and set your entire face with powder, this might be the one to reach for! ✅ DAILY WEAR? In my personal opinion, this is too heavy for daily wear, unless you have a lot to cover up, and it gives you confidence. I just found it incredibly uncomfortable. Maybe trying again with less than a full pump might be worth trying. Hope this review helped! 📸 PIC DESCRIPTIONS: Everything before the transfer tissue pic was upon first application. After the tissue, these were taken 7 hours later. Note the shine. Pic of me in the Jurassic park, this is me wearing my L’Oréal for 10 hours. Note the lack of shine.

I love this foundation! I feel it’s very smooth and not tacky. Goes on easy and also very easy to blend. Overall would recommend! I also haven’t had any issues with the product leaking or anything.

Amazing product from Charlotte!

This liquid foundation from CT is another great product from her. Sure, the price point of her products is on the higher end, but the saying "you get what you pay for" truly applies with everything she creates. The glass bottle has had no issues with leaking and the dispenser disperses the liquid easily. The shade range is great and the one I chose matches well. I've used both brushes and sponges to apply this and it always looks great. I appreciate how it does not feel heavy, yet provides adequate coverage. Depending on the application technique and tools, this is definitely buildable if a heavier result is something you're looking for. After wearing it all day it still looked very good. Of course, I would find myself randomly checking in mirrors to see how it "settled", but I was happy to find that it stayed in place rather well. I do attribute some of that credit towards proper skin prep, setting powder, and setting spray. Overall, I'm super pleased with this. Because I'm a busy mom this isn't my daily go-to for foundation. I actually use her glow stick foundation, which is beyond amazing, due to how easy and quick it is to use. This airbrush liquid is what I use when I have more time to focus on doing a full/heavier glam look and it has yet to disappoint.

Great matte foundation

I'm not usually a matte girlie, but this is probably one of the best matte foundations I've ever tried! What I Love: Flawless, Airbrushed Finish – This foundation delivers full coverage but still gives that “second-skin” look. It really blurs pores and imperfections beautifully, leaving a soft, smooth canvas. Natural-Matte Feel – While it's called "matte," it doesn’t feel flat or chalky. It feels weightless and has a semi-matte/skin-like finish instead of the overly dry or powdery look typical of some matte foundations. Long-Lasting & Transfer-Resistant – For a full-coverage foundation, it wears impressively well. It blends seamlessly and stays put for many hours. Hydration & Comfort – One of the most pleasant surprises is that it doesn’t dry out the skin. Even though it's a matte formula, it feels comfortable and hydrating, rather than tight or overly drying. One thing to note it IS a matte formula. I'd be conscious if you have skin with dry or flakes. It can cling to dry patches or emphasize texture if the skin prep is not well done. It's a little on the pricy side, but CT products are usually pretty worth the money! If you're looking for a high-performance, full-coverage liquid foundation that gives a smooth, airbrushed, natural-matte finish — without drying your skin out — this is a very strong contender. It’s especially well-suited for those with normal to combination skin, or anyone who wants a long-wear, camera-ready base that still feels comfortable. However, if your skin is very dry or you’re sensitive to fragrance, you may need to pair it with good hydrating skincare or primer to get the best results.
