Powder usually scares me because mature skin and powder do not always get along. This one works for me. The powder sets makeup lightly without drying, caking, or settling into fine lines. The trick is using very little with a fluffy brush. Soft blur only. I love how fine the formulation is...so good! Also, the compact itself is so quiet luxe and not tacky. Great coverage. However I wish there was more variety in shades. Light is too light and Medium is a bit too dark/orange. Wish there was a Light-Medium. Also, I typically use “clean makeup” brands due to my skin sensitivity issues. I can definitely “feel” this on my skin but it hasn’t made me break out yet. Definitely make sure you wash it off. *Real review* I have never had much knowledge of what to use when it comes to makeup. I used chat gpt to provide some options to help me get a natural look without enhancing fine lines under my eyes (which make me self conscious). I ordered and tried this the past few days and I love it. The shade is perfect (which was included in my chat GPT request). It does not sit into my fine lines. I would definitely purchase again. The only cons I have are more with the packaging-no applicator is included so I am still trying to figure out what works best. When I am trying to apply, the actual product insert turns and moves so it makes it feel like I am not getting an even amount of product on my brush. This is not a loose powder which I like, but it does crumble and turn into a loose consistency as soon as you start to apply to a brush which can get messy and I feel like overtime a lot of product will be wasted bc of this.
