I love this pressed powder. I use it under my eyes and to contour my nose, and I went with a slightly brighter shade for a soft highlighted look it’s gorgeous. Pro: The blur is unreal. My skin literally looks filtered, smoothing pores and texture so beautifully. Paired with a setting spray? Chef’s kiss. Con: It can feel a little drying depending on skin type, but that’s nothing a setting spray can’t fix. For reference, I have combination skin that leans dry, and this still looks amazing on me. Powder usually scares me because mature skin and powder do not always get along. This one works for me. The powder sets makeup lightly without drying, caking, or settling into fine lines. The trick is using very little with a fluffy brush. Soft blur only. I love how fine the formulation is...so good! Also, the compact itself is so quiet luxe and not tacky. This setting powder is not so great. It’s still better than some of the other brands I’ve used, however for the price tag it’s not worth it. Settled into my fine lines and after working 12 hours my make up smeared and didn’t set correctly. Maybe it’s my technique- but I’ve also used other less expensive brands with the same results.
