I'll tell you what I DO use these for, though, and that's running fast and far away from chub rub, my mortal enemy. You see, dear reader, I'm a gal who loves to wear cute dresses, but my complete and utter lack of thigh gap can sometimes make that a dangerous gamble. Wearing these soft shorts underneath? Perfect! Puts a buffer between my thicccccness and stops any sadness from scratching its way in. Plus, they have pockets, so if the dress you're wearing doesn't (or you just want extra pockets!), that's handy! They're also not super long, so there's no chance they'll peek out the edge of whatever I'm wearing. All in all, glad to finally find some gym shorts that aren't down to my knees! I'm 5'2", by the way. Shorts being too long is a legit problem, which I know sounds ridiculous but... eh. We're all shaped different.

I disliked the lie in the description that these shorts were 100% cotton. They are not. As you can see from the photo of the tag they are 60% cotton 40% polyester.

For my shape, the top band was too tight. I wear about 16-18 in jeans and I’m short. Most 1x clothes will be loose on me, but these shorts in 1x are a bit tight. Maybe those with more of an hourglass shape will like the fit.

I am 5 ft 6, 250 pounds. I wear a 20W or a 22W on the bottom, but I ordered a 3X assuming they likely run small. 3X fits me perfectly. They are supposed to fit a 24W to 26W, but that would not likely work. I have not washed them yet, but I just wore them for the first time and so far, mostly good. The legs hike up a tad between the thighs when walking, but this happens often when you are large and have on shorts like this. They feel fairly cool and would be good for working out or walking around the neighborhood. I think they are perfect to wear to the gym.

I like the quality and they did fit my plus size figure which makes me happy but it wears more like a skirt than shorts because of the length but I wanted some thing that would cover my body - waist, tummy, and hips. I am wondering about ways to wear them so they favor my wardrobe but I think I will be able to come up with some good ideas. I think I will be pleased to have them as a part of my clothing selection.

The shorts are very straightforward and a great value. Nothing fancy, no unique styling. They are like plain, unisex gym shorts. The #1 selling point is the thick, traditional drawstring! Nowadays, too many shorts and sweats come with a drawstring that is sewn in and can't easily be replaced. These shorts have the classic style thar can be replaced easily. The only downside is that if you're not careful, one end can get pulled into the waistband, but you can fish it out.
